IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ AND SAVE IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Assemble the appliance according to the INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS section before use. Before using the appliance, check and ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance and read these important safety instructions carefully.
  2. Use a voltage of 120V ~ 60Hz and a power socket that meets the national standard to ensure your safety.
  3. Do not use the appliance in a high-moisture or cold environment.
  4. If the mains power cable of this appliance should become damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’ s customer service department or a similarly qualified person to avoid any hazard.
  5. Only use the appliance after it has been fully assembled; never connect the appliance to a power supply before assembly.
  6. To avoid hazards, do not move the appliance when it is in use.
  7. This product should be installed and used away from bathtubs, shower heads, and swimming pools. Always ensure that no water can splash onto the appliance.
  8. Power off and unplug the appliance when it is unattended or will not be used for a long time.
  9. The appliance should be used away from sources of fire.
  10. Do not put anything on top of the appliance to avoid hazards.
  11. To prevent mechanical damage, electric shock, or fire, do not insert any objects into the appliance. When the appliance is working in the OSC mode, do not turn it in the opposite direction as this may damage the OSC structure inside the appliance.
  12. Never rinse the appliance under running water, and never touch the switch or any of the control buttons with wet hands.
  13. Make sure that the appliance is powered off and unplugged if you need to detach the protective shell during cleaning and maintenance.
  14. This appliance cannot be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or those who lack experience or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and they understand the hazards involved.
  15. Children aged 8 or above should be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance.
  16. lf you notice an unpleasant smell or smoke while using this appliance, turn it off and unplug it immediately. Send it to an authorized service center for repair.
  17. Non-professional personnel may not repair or modify the appliance.
  18. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature
  19. Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.
  20. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded or returned to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  21. Do not run a cord under the carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from the traffic area so that it will not be tripped over.
  22. Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard the fan or return it to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Fasten the two bases together.

Product Instruction

  • Timing button: Press this button repeatedly to set the shutdown time in 1-hour increments, up to 24 hours.
  • OSC button: Press this button slightly to have the fan enter the OSC mode. Press the button again to stop the fan at the desired position.
  • Wind mode button:
    • Press this button to change wind mode in the following order: Normal mode – Natural mode – Sleep mode.
  • Wind speed button: Once the tower fan is turned on, it will work at low speed.
  • Press this button to change the wind speed in the following order: Low speed – Medium speecf – High speed.
  • Remote controller (Fig. 1)

KEY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. “ ” ON/OFF KEY
    • Press the “ON” key to switch on the fan. The fan will start with the low-speed wind. Press the “OFF” key to switch the fan off.
  2. “ “SPEED KEY
    • When the fan starts, press this key repeatedly to make the fan cycle through the “LOW-speed wind-MID speed wind-HIGH speed wind” settings.
  3. “ ‘ MODE KEY
    • Press this key to select the mode. Press it repeatedly to make the mode cycle from normal mode to natural mode(icon: ) to sleep mode(icon: ).
  4. “ ” SWING KEY
    • After the fan has started, press this key to select the swing/oscillation mode.
  5. “ “TIMER KEY
    • If the fan is operating: Press the timer key repeatedly to set a shutdown time of up to 24 hours (in 1-hour increments). If the fan is not operating: Press the timer key repeatedly to set a start time up to 24 hours (in 1-hour increments).
    • Note: All the selected functions will be shown on the indicator panel.

BATTERIES

  1. Before first use: Pull out the protective film to remove it. The remote controller is now ready for use. (Protective film is to prevent the remote controller from running out of power before it is used)
  2. Battery replacement:
  3. The remote controller requires a 3V lithium button battery for operation. To install the battery, simply place your thumb in the indentations push it to the right, and then slide the battery compartment cover back.   4. Insert the new battery(Battery type: CR2025) and make sure that it is placed as shown in Fig. 3.
  5. Replace the battery cover.

BATTERY WARNINGS

  1. Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire as they may explode or leak.
  2. Do not mix old and new batteries.

REMOTE CONTROLLER OPERATION

  1. Point the remote controller at the receptor on the body of the fan and press the desired button. The remote controller will work at distances of up to around 5 meters (16 feet) and at a 30-degree angle to the left and right of the receptor. Before disposing of the remote controller, the batteries must first be removed and then disposed of safely.
  2. If the tower fan is used in a room with high-power machines, the remote controller will not work.
  3. Don’t put anything between the remote controller and the receptor on the body of the fan.
  4. Please keep the remote controller properly to avoid impact and fall.
  5. Please take out the battery and store it properly when the remote controller is not in use.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If any failure should occur, check the following troubleshooting list first. If the problem still cannot be resolved, please send the appliance to an authorized service center for repair.

Problem Solutions

The fan does not work and the indicator is off

| Check whether the plug is properly inserted into the socket
Check whether the air inlet grille has been correctly installed
The remote control is not functioning| If the working indicator light is off, check whether the battery of the remote control has been installed incorrectly or is empty
If the working indicator light is on, try pointing the infrared emitter of the remote control at the product’s control panel
Abnormal sound| Stop, the fan and check whether it has been stably placed

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Power off the appliance and remove the power plug before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the body, rear shell, and base with dry tissue paper or a soft cloth. If the dust cannot be removed easily, the appliance can be wiped with a damp cloth or soapy water or another neutral detergent.
  3. Do not let any water get into the appliance as this may damage it.
  4. Remove dust from the grille and wind wheels using a long soft brush.
  5. If the fan has already been used for one or two years, a small amount of lubricating oil can be added between the motor and the wind wheel shaft to keep it running smoothly.
  6. If the fan has not been used for a long time, we recommend that you clean the fan, put on a dust-proof cover, and store it in a cool and dry place.
  7. Do not wipe the fan with gasoline, thinner or any other solution as this may damage it.
