Get ready
To start, you’ll need your robot, charging station and power cable. Set other accessories aside for later.
Position the charging station
Place the charging station near an outlet in an area with good Wi-Fi coverage.
Keep the area around the charging station free of clutter.
Plug in the charging station
Plug the power cable into the charging station, then into the wall. Wrap the
cable back so it won’t get in the way of the robot as it comes and goes.
Wake up Roomba®
Place your robot on the charging station by lining up the metal charging
contacts. After a few minutes, a sound will let you know it’s awake.
Download the iRobot Home App
Scan the code with the camera on your mobile device (or find the iRobot Home App in your app store). Complete setup in the app to allow your robot to identify and avoid obstacles in real time.
