Download App

  1. Download ‘Home Mate Smart’ app on App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Scan QR Code to Download App https://a.smart321.com/homematesmart
  3. Phone must be connected to 2.4 Ghz WiFi network only (and not 5 Ghz)
  4. Location should be ON
  5. Mobile Bluetooth should be ON

Register Account

  1. Launch Home Mate Smart App & click ‘Sign Up’
  2. Enter your email id to receive opts
  3.  We will send you a verification code.
  4. Enter in the Verification Code field, set your password and tap “Login”

Add Device

  1. Once connected power supply to the Surface Light, it will start blinking. If light is not blinking, turn the power supply on and off 3 times after which the light will come into the reset mode.

  2. Click on’+’ at the top right corner or Add Device’ on “Home Mate Smart app” and It will automatically show the nearby device ready to be paired.

  3. Tap on “Go to add”

  4. Tap ‘+’ at the top right corner to add the device.

  5. Enter Wi-Fi Password then tap on “Confirm”.

  6. It will connect to the Home Mate Smart Surface Light. Note: Please make sure your phone should be connected to 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi network only.

Device Configuration
After connecting the device, automatically it will open the page to control by the application.

  1. Change the intensity of light.
  2. Change colour of the Surface Light from 16 million colours and also set White colour to ‘Warm’ and ‘Cool’ White.
  3. Select one of scenes already created
  4. Schedule switching off and on at predefined time.

Note: Tuneable White Surface light can be set only White colour to ‘Warm’ and ‘Cool’ White.

1. Can I group multiple HomeMate devices together?

2. How many devices can I control?

- HomeMate Smart app can control unlimited number of devices in unlimited number of locations. However your router have limit of devices that can be connected to it. Thus limit depends upon quality of your router.

3. The device appears offline or unreachable, what should I do?

Important Information

Tips for Smart Surface Light:

  1. Please ensure the connection of all parts is secure and correct before switching ON the power supply, otherwise, there is a risk of burning the Surface Light.
  2. Reset the light by rapidly switching it ON/OFF 3 times

Caution: Risk of electric shock or burns, use in dry locations only. Do not use outdoors, with wet hands, or when standing on wet or damp surfaces
Remark: Pictures shown in instruction manual could be a bit different from the pages of your app because product & software update periodically.

Link with Voice Assistant

Steps to link with voice assistant:

  1. Download the Alexa or Google Home App from play/iOS store.
  2.  Register/ Login the app and add voice assistant (if any).
  3.  Search for Home Mate Smart in Alexa Skills or Google Assistant actions.
  4. Enable ‘Home Mate Smart’ Skill/Action in your Voice assistant App.
