Precautions For Safe Use
Safety precautions
When using our ice maker, you should follow these basic safety precautions:
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- Children should be watched carefully to ensure that they do not play and climb the ice machine, and do not let anyone climb, sit, stand or lean on the door (cover) of the ice machine, to prevent personal injury and damage to the ice machine. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
- All parts should be replaced with the same parts and should be repaired by factory-authorized maintenance personnel to minimize the risk of fire caused by incorrect parts or improper repairs. When unplugging the power plug, do not pull the power cord directly to prevent it from breaking.
- When repairing or cleaning the ice maker, the power plug must be unplugged.
- The ice maker is mainly used for making and storing ice for a short time, not for cooling or storing other food and drinks.
- Only drinking water can be injected to make ice, otherwise, it will cause personal injury and product damage.
- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
- Danger: Do not store or use inflammable articles, such as gas, paint, gasoline, etc. near the ice maker, and do not put inflammable and explosive articles, such as alcohol, gasoline, etc. in the ice maker to prevent explosion and fire.
- Danger: Do not place the ice maker in a damp, spattered area.
- Warning: this product is only suitable for making and storing ice cubes. It is not used for other purposes, such as storing blood and products, medicines, biological products, chemicals and technical data.
- Warning: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer.
- Warning: The top of the ice maker should not be placed used microwave oven, electric plate pots, voltage regulators or other electrical devices, also should not be placed on top of the ice maker heavy objects and liquid containers, to prevent people from falling or liquid overflow caused by leakage of electricity caused by electric shock and fire.
- Warning: In case of flammable gas leakage, close the valve of the leakage source and try to drain the indoor air. Do not unplug appliance power sockets and operate the ice maker in case of fire.
- Warning: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
- Warning: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Risk of fire / flammable materials, Take care to avoid causing a fire by igniting flammable material.
- Warning: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Please according to local regulations regarding disposal of the appliance for its flammable blowing gas.
Electrical connection
- Power supply: The ice maker uses an AC power supply (specific power supply specifications refer to the product nameplate), and the allowable voltage fluctuation range is ‡10%.
- To ensure safe use, the socket and its connecting wires must be able to withstand more than 10A of current. Be sure to use a separate, three-conductor power outlet with safe ground wire.
Use Suggestions
Handling and placement
Handing
- Do not hold the door (cover) to move the ice maker, it should be lifted from the lift structure or bottom of the product design.
- Do not lift or turn the ice maker upside down.
Placement
The ice maker must be placed on a smooth, horizontal surface, otherwise, it
will be dangerous to the user. The ice maker should be placed in a dry,
ventilated place with free-flowing air. To avoid overheating, affect the ice-
making machine use effect and prevent the occurrence of hazards, the ice-
making machine ventilation grid to retain more than 20cm around the space, and
the top to retain more than 30cm space. Do not cover or block the ice maker’s
grille, and keep away from curtains and other flammable materials. Avoid
direct exposure to heat or sunlight.
WARNING: When placing the device, make sure the power cord is not pinched or damaged. Do not place multiple portable outlets or portable power sources on the back of the unit.
Prepare before use
- Remove all packaging components, including foam pads at the bottom, foam pads and tape (if any) for internal securing accessories.
- Inventory random attachments and information.
- Place the ice maker in the proper location by referring to the relevant contents in Handling and Placement.
- Follow the cleaning tips to clean the inside and outside of the ice machine.
Start to use
Insert the plug according to the electrical connection instructions and turn
on the power.
- Fill with water following the instructions for filling and draining.
- Refer to the instructions on the operation panel and function settings to set up and start-up.
- The ice maker that has been moved should be stationary for 30 minutes before starting to make ice, otherwise, the cooling effect will be affected, and the cooling system will be damaged in severe cases.
Make sure that the plug connection is firm. Loose plugs can cause cords and receptacles to heat up, break, and even fire. Please ensure that the ventilation grille of this product and its surroundings are free from obstacles to ensure ventilation of the product.

All illustrations in this manual are schematic diagrams! Some features and devices may not exactly match your model of ice maker! Please refer to the product for specific structure and configuration!

Storage room
The storeroom is divided into two parts, the upper part is an ice storage area
and the lower part is a water storage area.
Operating Instructions
Operation panel and function
Standby Mode
- Power on, the work indicator flashes, ice machine enters standby mode.
- Under ice-making mode, shortly after press the making button once, the work indicator flashes, ice machine enters standby mode.
Ice Making Mode
- Under other working modes except washing mode, short press the ice-making button once, the working indicator will be always on, ice machine enters ice-making mode.
Washing Mode
- Under standby mode, press and hold the ice-making button for 3S, the work indicator, add the water indicator and ice full indicator light up at the same time, and the machine enters the washing mode.
- After the washing process is finished, it automatically returns to standby mode.
- Under the washing mode, short press ice making button to exit washing mode.
Ice Full Reminding Mode
- During ice ice-making process, when the ice cubes block the signal transmission of the photoelectric sensor, the ice-full indicator will light up, and a “beep” sound will be emitted for about 3 seconds, then automatically enter ice-full reminding mode.
- When the ice cubes are melted or removed manually, the signal transmission of the photoelectric sensor is restored, and it will automatically resume ice-making. When no ice cube or other foreign object is blocking the signal transmission of the photoelectric sensor, but the machine still indicates ice full, it means the photoelectric sensor is in failure. At this time, if you want to make ice, you can press and hold the making button for 3S to force ice-making. It will automatically enter ice-full reminder- ing mode after working 10 rounds.
Water Shortage Reminding Mode
- Under the working process of ice-making and washing mode, when the water volume of the water storage room is low or the water box is not filled with water, the add water indicator will light up, and there will be a “beep” sound for about 3 seconds,then automatically enter the water shortage reminding mode.
- Under the water shortage reminding mode, short press the ice-making button to enter the ice-making mode.
Ice Box Not Reset Reminding Mode
- During the working process of ice-making and washing mode, when the ice-making box fails to reach the water filling or ice-shedding position within 2 minutes, add water indicator and ice full indicator will light up at the same time, and a “beep” sound will be emitted for about 3 seconds, then automatically enter the icebox not reset remind- ing mode.
- It will automatically enter the ice making mode after 30 minutes.
- Under the ice box not reset the reminding mode, short press the ice making button to enter ice making mode.
Water filling and drainage
Water filling
- When the water volume in the water storage area is too low or there is a water shortage reminding, you need to fill the water.
- Manually fill drinking water into the water storage area.
- The amount of water filling each time must not exceed the maximum water level mark.
- Warning: fill with potable water only.
Water Drainage
- Drainage is required when the water in the storage area is contaminated or when the inner walls of the storage area need to be cleaned.
- Pull out the plug before drainage.
- Properly move the ice maker and place a water storage container directly under the drainage outlet.
- Pull out the drain stopper and the water will flow out automatically.
- After the draining is finished, the stopper should be plugged in immediately.
- When filling or draining water, make sure that no water is injected or splashed into the live parts of the equipment to avoid danger.
- When using the machine again after drainage, please check whether there is water leakage at the drain outlet, and ensure there is no leakage before continuing to use.
Kindly Reminder
- Under ice making mode, avoid putting your hands into the ice making area to prevent danger.
- When using pure water or distilled water to make ice, there may be a false alarm of water shortage, just add a little salt to solve.
- To obtain larger ice cubes, in addition to lowering the room temperature, you can also use water of a lower temperature to make ice.
- The ice box is not reset reminding mode is designed as a protective feature.
In general
- When there are ice cubes or foreign objects around the outer periphery of the ice-making box that blocks the rotation of the ice-making box, only needs to remove the ice cubes or foreign objects manually.
- When the ice cubes on the ice-making columns are so big that affect the rotation of the ice-making box, please wait until the ice cubes melt naturally before using them, it is not allowed to forcibly remove the ice cubes on the column.
- To avoid contaminating food, follow these instructions:
- Opening the door (cover) for a long period can cause the temperature in the ice machine storage room to increase significantly.
- Regularly clean surfaces that may come into contact with food and accessible drainage system; if the machine is not used for 48 hours, the water tank needs to be cleaned; if the water in tank exists more than 5 days, the water circulation system connected to the water supply system needs to be washed.
- If the ice maker is left empty for a long period, please turn it off, defrost, clean, dry, and keep the door (cover) open to prevent mould from developing inside of the ice maker.
Cleaning and Maintains
Cleaning
Precautions for storage room and external cleaning:
- Pull out the plug before cleaning.
- When cleaning, make sure that water does not get into the live parts.
- Scrub the inside and outside of the ice maker with a soft towel dampened in warm water or a mild detergent.
- Do not scrub with cleaners that contain abrasives (such as toothpaste), acids, chemical solvents (such as alcohol), or polishes.
- Do not flush with water.
Inner cleaning
- Fill the storage area with a 1:2 solution of water and vinegar following the instructions of water filling.
- Start washing mode.
- After washing mode is finished, follow the instructions for water drainage to drain the solution away.
- Circling the process of fill water-washing-drainage, repeat several times until clean water comes out when draining.
Mountains
- Place the ice maker in a dry and well-ventilated place, ensuring that the ice maker is not near heat sources and is not exposed to direct sunlight.
- Water that is too hot should be cooled to room temperature before making ice.
- Minimize the opening door (cover) time of the ice maker.
- Regularly clean the ventilation grilles.
Other attentions
- Turn off and stop using
- If you need to turn it off, you can directly pull out the power plug.
- If you decide to leave the ice machine out of service for some time, follow these steps: first clean, then turn off, and finally leave the door (cover) slightly open to avoid bad smells caused.
Notice: If you decide to deactivate the ice machine, no food should be stored in the storage room.
