Application Instructions
To use the product
- Make sure the product is connected to a properly installed power socket.
- Turn on the product using the function selector
- 0: Off
- 1: Low
- 2: Medium
- 3: High
- To turn off the product
- Set the function selector to 0 (off).
- Only then, unplug the power cord from the power socket.
Cleaning
When cleaning the product
- WARNING : Clean the function selector only with a dry cloth.
Storage
When storing the product
- Ensure that the power plug is inserted correctly.
- Check the house fuse.

This appliance is an electric underblanket.

- Electric under blankets can be washed on a delicate cycle at a maximum of 40 °C.

WARNING
- This appliance is not intended for use in hospitals.
- This appliance must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.
- Children under the age of three are not allowed to use this appliance due to their inability to react to overheating.
WARNING
- The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under supervision and with the control always set to minimum temperature value.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Do not use the product wet or in rooms with high humidity such as bathrooms etc.
- The electric underblanket may not be used on an adjustable bed. Or: Before using on an adjustable bed, check that the electric underblanket and the connections are not, for example, trapped in a hinge or pushed together.
- The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to risks of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or treading if not cor-rectly arranged. The user shall make sure that excess ties and electric cords shall be arranged in a safe way.
- In the case of continuous use, the step switch may only be set to step “1”.
- If there is a possibility that the user will fall asleep using the ap-pliance, the appliance may only be set to step “1”.
- When the appliance is not being used, it must be stored as de-scribed in the chapter “Storage”.
WARNING
- Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
- The product is to be checked regularly for signs of wear or damage. If the product has these signs or if the appliance is used incorrectly, it must be taken to the dealer or service centre before being used again.
- Do not use a damaged appliance and disconnect it from the power supply immediately.
- If the appliance is not working because a fuse in it has been triggered, send the product to our service centre.
- Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly quali-fied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
General Notes
- The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
- Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the
- appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
- Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
- The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
- Use only original spare parts.
- In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
WARNING
Do not allow small children to play with the plastic foil. There is a danger
of suffocation!
Notes for Use
Operation
Use the electric underblanket on the mattress of your bed. The electric
underblanket must be fixed to the mattress using the tightening straps.
- Place the electric underblanket on the mattress.
- Place the tightening straps over the corners.
- The electric underblanket must lie on the mattress in a flat, crease-free and uncovered manner.
- Guide the cable from the bed such that you are still able to operate the thermostat properly.
CAUTION
Do not cover the step switch. This can lead to malfunctions.
Electrical Connection
- Ensure that the appliance voltage (see rating label) and the mains voltage are the same.
- Attach the electricity supply to the connector.
- Insert the plug into a properly installed socket.
Switching On
- Move the step switch on the controller to the desired setting.
- The indicator light will illuminate to show that the appli- ance is in operation.
- Due to safety reasons the appliance will switch off after 8 hours automatically. The indicator light will flash. To start the working function again, switch off the appliance first and switch it on again afterwards.
NOTE
Unusual smells may occur during the first use. These are harmless and
disappear the more the appliance is used.
Step Switch
You can choose the following settings
Switching Off
- Set the step switch to 0 (off).
- Only then pull the plug out of the wall socket.
Cleaning
WARNING
- Pull the plug out of the socket before each time you clean the appliance.
- Only clean the appliance when it is cool. Risk of burns!
- Do not submerge the step switch in water! This could lead to an electric shock or a fire.
CAUTION
- Do not use any strong cleaning agents or solvents.
- Please note the care instructions on the labels!
Electric Underblanket

Remove the plug from the electricity supply.

You can wash the electric underblanket in the washing machine on a delicate programme at 40 °C or by hand as it is hermetically sealed.
Use a mild detergent and follow the instructions of the manufacturer on amount of detergent.
CAUTION
Do not use any stain removers such as foams or sprays.
CAUTION
Please note that the electric underblanket may not be chemically cleaned, wrung out, dried in a tumble dryer or ironed.
Please note that high stress is placed on the electric underblanket by frequent washing. The heating pad should be washed in a washing machine a maximum of five times during its service life. We therefore recommend that you wash the cover exclusively by hand. -
Immediately after washing, pull the electric underblanket into its original shape and leave it to dry lying flat over a washing stand.
CAUTION
Do not use any clothes pegs or similar to attach the electric under blanket to the washing stand. Otherwise this may cause damage. -
Let the electric underblanket dry completely before you use it again.
CAUTION
- Only reconnect the plug to the electric underblanket when the plug connection and the electric under-blanket are both completely dry. Otherwise this may damage the electric underblanket.
- Never switch the electric underblanket on to dry it! This may cause an electric shock.
Step Switch
Only clean the step switch with a dry cloth.
Storage
- Pull the plug out of the socket.
- Let the appliance cool down completely before storing it away.
CAUTION
- Store the product in a dry place.
- Avoid the appliance being sharply bent by items being placed on it during storage.
