When the mouse is paired to my laptop via Bluetooth, the connection

intermittently cuts in and out. How do I fix this?

Try updating your Intel drivers by visiting: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support- assistant.html

My laptop has Bluetooth capability, but I cannot pair the new Razer Orochi

2015 with it.

The Razer Orochi 2015 uses the latest Bluetooth Smart (BT 4.0 / BLE) technology. Please ensure your laptop supports Bluetooth Smart (BT 4.0 / BLE) technology as the Orochi 2015 will not be able to pair with other/older versions of Bluetooth.

Bluetooth Smart dongles are available for purchase from various manufactures and will enable your laptop to use the New Razer Orochi.

If your laptop does have Bluetooth Smart (BT 4.0 / BLE) technology and you have downgraded to Windows 7, your laptop will not have the necessary driver to support the Razer Orochi 2015. In this case a Bluetooth Smart dongle would also be needed.

Since updating to Windows 10 Razer Synapse does not detect my device and

show the correct product configurator

If you encounter this, please perform Synapse update through Settings >> Check for Updates. If the updates not able to run or Synapse not able to load, please uninstall Synapse and download the latest Synapse Framework from Razer support site.

Is Razer Synapse support available for the Razer Orochi 8200 on Mac OS?

Razer Synapse support for the Razer Orochi 8200 is available, please make sure you are using the latest update to Synapse to ensure full compatibility.

Can I adjust the sensitivity of the Razer Orochi in both wired and

wireless modes?

Yes you are able to adjust the sensitivity of the Razer Orochi in both wired and wireless modes. However, in wireless mode, you will not be able to view the configuration interface that you have access to in wired mode.

Does On the Fly Sensitivity for the Razer Orochi only work when the mouse

is in wired mode?

No, you are able to adjust your sensitivity in both the wired and wireless modes. However, in wireless mode you will not be able to view the user interface that you have access to in wired mode. Your sensitivity changes when you push the up/down sensitivity buttons in either mode, but there will be no display on screen while in wireless mode.

Does the Razer Orochi come with a Bluetooth adapter?

The Razer Orochi does not include a Bluetooth adapter and does require the computer system to have either a built-in or plugged-in Bluetooth adapter in order to pair. If the system does not have Bluetooth functionality, the Razer Orochi can be connected in wired mode to any USB port.

Why does the batteries in my other Bluetooth wireless mouse last longer

than when I use them with the Razer Orochi?

Unlike other standard Bluetooth wireless mice, the Razer Orochi has been optimized for general gaming usage and supports 125Hz polling with 8ms response even in wireless mode. In additional, the Razer Orochi is equipped with Razer Synapse which consumes more power than the standard Bluetooth wireless mouse.

How do I get longer life out of the batteries I use in my Razer Orochi ?

High performance batteries are recommended for longer battery life. Switch off the Razer Orochi when not in use to conserve power.

My Razer mouse is out of warranty and is not working. Is there any way it

can be repaired?

Razer products are designed to work well beyond when the warranty has expired. However, If you feel your mouse is having issues we first suggest trying the mouse on another computer to insure the issue is with the mouse and not something within the computer system. If you have narrowed the issue to the mouse itself there is not really a cost effective repair center that would be able to assist you. Razer does make available some basic external spare parts at the Razer Store , but we are unable to supply any internal parts or repair guides.

You can clean the mouse sensor using a Q-Tip lightly coated with rubbing alcohol and then letting the sensor dry for 5 minutes before attempting to use it. It is rare, but a light shot of air from a can of compressed air can sometime free debris that may be causing an issue.

How do I get rid of the slight delay when the Razer Orochi comes out of

the sleep/standby mode?

During sleep mode, the Razer Orochi enters a low power mode where the consumption of battery life is reduced to a minimum. The delay you are seeing is due to the mouse reestablishing its Bluetooth connection with the computer. The wireless response time of the Razer Orochi has been optimized to be very quick, 8 milliseconds. However, you may notice a slight delay while Bluetooth connection is being reestablished. For the supreme gaming experience and competitive gaming we recommend using the Razer Orochi in wired mode.

How do I put the Razer Orochi in pairing mode so my computer can locate

it?

Press all 4 side buttons of the Orochi together for 5 seconds. The indicator light on top of the Orochi will blink blue to indicate that the pairing process has started.

My computer does not have Bluetooth, will the Orochi still work on it?

If your computer did not come with built in Bluetooth functionality, many small and inexpensive USB Bluetooth dongles are available from third party vendors. Simply do a search for “Bluetooth Dongle” and you will find many options.

My laptop enters sleep mode when I place my Orochi near the bottom of the

unit. What should I do?

Certain laptops use a magnetic system to indicate the lid has been closed. The magnet that holds the cover firmly in place on the Orochi tricks the Laptop into thinking that the lid is closed and will cause your computer to react as if the lid has been closed.

What type of batteries does the Razer Orochi use?

The Razer Orochi uses 2 AA alkaline batteries.

Whenever I plug in or unplug the Orochi mouse from my system l notice that

the Systray icon will disappear and then reappear after a while. Is this normal?

This is normal. This is because our driver is restarting the Systray application when you switch from Bluetooth to wired, or vice versa. This is necessary to prevent the call to the Bluetooth stack from intermittently hanging on some computer systems.

Where is the serial number on the Razer Orochi?

The serial number for the Razer Orochi can be found inside the battery compartment. Remove the top cover and batteries, and then pull the pull tab right-hand battery compartment (with the mouse facing forwards from you). The serial number is on the bottom facing side.

Are Razer products available in PS/2 versions? Can I use the products with

a USB to PS2 adapter?

Razer products are only available and supported in USB mode only. There are no plans to release a PS/2 version, and they will not function properly using a USB to PS2 adapter.

How do I clean and maintain my Razer Mouse for optimum performance?

Before attempting any type of cleaning on your mouse, please unplug it from your computer.
Clean the mouse sensor:

You can clean the sensor using a Q-Tip lightly coated with rubbing alcohol. Let the sensor dry for 5 minutes before attempting to use it.
Clean the body of your mouse:

We cannot say with certainty what type of dirt and debris may be on your product, or how certain cleaning products may react with it, but we have had good luck cleaning Razer products using commonly available monitor cleaning wipes. To clean the body of your Razer mouse please take a monitor wipe and use gentle wiping motions. Do not scrub the surface of your Razer mouse.
Protect your mouse feet:

To get the ultimate experience in movement and control, we highly recommend a premium mouse surface from Razer. Some other surfaces can cause the mouse feet to wear excessively and rapidly.
How does Razer measure the polling rate (ultrapolling) and response rates of their keyboards and mice?
Razer uses digital scopes and USB analyzers connected directly to the motherboard to obtain real and accurate measurements of polling rates.

I cannot get the On The Fly sensitivity function to work on my Razer

mouse. How do I set it?

If a button has been assigned to “On-The-Fly Sensitivity,” pressing and holding the assigned button down while moving the scroll wheel up or down will produce a bar on the lower right hand corner of your screen allowing you to adjust your sensitivity settings.

My Razer peripheral will not work properly when used with a KVM switch.

We recommend plugging your Razer product directly into your PC. KVM switches are known to cause interruptions in communications between devices and PCs. If your Razer product works when plugged directly into the computer, then it is operating correctly and the issue is most likely due to the KVM switch.

What are Master Acceleration and Master Sensitivity Control?

What buttons can I register for Macros on Razer mice?

What are some examples of a “Proof of Purchase” to provide when initiating

Where can I find drivers for my Razer product?

Please click here to find all the latest drivers.

Why does Razer require a proof of purchase?

Razer must verify that the product is within the specified warranty period and that it was purchased from an authorized reseller. Products purchased from unauthorized dealers are often used, counterfeit, re-boxed, defective or gray market goods. These units may also not be designed and packaged to work in your country and may not meet all legal and safety requirements. Razer will not be able to honor a warranty on products purchased from an unauthorized dealer or that are out of the warranty period. If you purchased product from an unauthorized reseller, all support and warranty issues should be directed to that reseller.
