Apple AZ002 iPad Pencil 2nd Generation

Indicator Light States

1. Green light shows its working
2. Red light shows its charging
3. Blinking red light shows its low battery
   

Starting up method

1. Hold for 3 seconds to power on, and the indicator light will turn green.

Shutdown method

1. Hold for 3 seconds to turn off, and the indicator light will disappear.
2. Leave still for 5 minutes to auto turn off, and the indicator light will disappear.
   Off-state (all lights are off)
   

Charging

Charging on the magnetic iPad, the green light will start flashing and charging normally when the pen is fully charged, the light turns green and turns off after 5 minutes.

Bluetooth connection

Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn on the power indicator light and turn on the green light iPad settings enter the Bluetooth interface, turn on Bluetooth, click to select I-Pencil, then click pair to complete the connection.

How to display the power of the stylus on the iPad?
Long press the + sign on the upper corner of the iPad screen to add widgets, and select the widgets inside the battery. There are three modes that can be freely selected.

Solutions to common problems

1. The stylus cannot connect to Bluetooth.
   Solution: The stylus can be turned on normally. The green light displays but can’ t connect to Bluetooth. Enter the Bluetooth page to connect to the Bluetooth device.
   If there are more than 5 Bluetooth channels, ignore all the Bluetooth device. Restart the stylus and search for I-Pencil to reconnect. The reason is too many conflicting Bluetooth connections.
   

2. The nib is twisted and the rotating slide wire is loosened:
   Solution: The nib slipper needs to be replaced with a new nib, and it can be used normally without rotating the slippery wire.
   

3. The stylus does not work:
   Solution:
   a. Hold for 3 seconds to turn on the red light, and immediately turn off the stylus to enter the power-free state, then it needs to be charged before it can work normally.
   b. Hold the on button for 3 seconds to turn on the power indicator light entering the extreme sleep mode, you need to activate the charging bar to charge. This state needs to be charged for 50 minutes before it can be used.
   c. How to activate the extreme sleep mode?
   Use the iPad to charge, the stylus should stick on the iPad, and the indicator red light displays for 3 seconds, then flashes on and off for 3 seconds. Repeat this action 3-6 times, and the pen’s light turns red. If the flashing does not stop, it means normal charging. In this state, it needs to be charged for 20 minutes before the pen can enter normal use.

4. The green light cannot be written: Solution:
   a. Whether the original pen has been used, and whether the original pen has been used to enter the Bluetooth setting and ignore the Bluetooth of the original pen.
   
   b. If the green light is on for a long time, the device cannot be powered off.
   Press and hold for 6 seconds to make the stylus enter the restart and recovery mode.
   c. Use the complimentary nib to reinstall and then try writing.

5. Working contact of green light. Solution:
   a. Check whether the stylus is tightened and whether the broken tip will also affect the broken touch.
   b. Check whether the iPad screen is clean, oil or water may cause disconnection.
   c. Check the thickness of the iPad screen protective film, if the protective film is too thick, it will disconnect.
