Important safety information
Handle AirTag with care It contains sensitive electronic components, including batteries, and can be damaged, impair functionality, or cause injury if dropped, burned, punctured, crushed, disassembled, or if exposed to excessive heat or liquid or environments having high concentrations of industrial chemicals.

Battery
AirTag contains a coin cell battery. The battery may need to be replaced due,ng the life of the product Replace only with the same type (CR2032) and rating of the battery, observing the correct polarity.

  1. Push the battery compartment door, then turn counter-clockwise with two thumbs and release when rotation stops.
  2. Remove the door.
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Insert a CR2032 battery into the device with the positive side(+) facing up.
  5. Place the battery compartment door on the device, and rotate clockwise while gently pushing, until it drops into place.
  6. Push the door into the device unit.. 1t stops, then rotate clockwise with two thumbs until rotation stops. There 1s a risk of fire or electric shock if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.

Important: Dispose of used batteries according to your local environmental laws. For more information please visit www.apple.com/batteries. Keep batteries away from children. Do not ingest the battery, if ingested or placed inside the body seek medical attention immediately. Ingesting can cause severe chemical burns in Just two hours and result in serious injury or death. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the device and keep it away from children.

Choking hazard
AirTag, the battery compartment door, the battery, and the case may present a choking hazard or cause another injury to small children. Keep these items away from small children.

Medical device interference
AirTag contains corr po1ents and radios that emit electromagnetic fields.A1rTag also contains magnets. These electromagnetic fields and magnets may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical devices. Maintain a safe d stance of separation between your medical device and A.rTag. Consult your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device. Stop using AirTag if you suspect it is interfering with your defibrillator or any other medical device.

Electrostatic shock
When using this product in areas where the air Is very dry, it is easy to build up static electricity. To minimize the r·sk of e electrostatic discharge, avoid using this product in extremely dry environments, or touch a grounded unpainted
the metal object before using

Important handling information
Discoloration of AirTag after regular use is normal. To clean, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Don’t press anything sharp on the rubber seal or on the battery terminal contacts inside the device Don’t get moisture in any openings or use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives to clean the device. Ultra Wideband information
Ultra Wideband on A1rTag is only active when AirTag is in close proximity to a paired Ultra Wideband-compatible Apple device and during a user-triggered finding session. When the use of Ultra Wideband is prohibited in your region, such as while traveling in aircraft, Ultra Wideband can be turned off by turning on Airplane mode on a paired Ultra Wideband-compatible Apple device. On the paired Ultra Wideband-compatible Apple device, open Control Center, then tap the airplane, con. You can also turn Airplane mode on or off in Settings. When Airplane mode is on, the airplane icon appears in the status bar. Ultra Wideband features require a paired Ultra Wideband compatible Apple device Ultra Wideband availability varies by region.

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR SERVICE
Apple may restrict warranty service for keyboard products to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device. Apple may restrict warranty service for keyboard products purchased in the EEA or Switzerland to the EEA and Switzerland. Apple will provide warranty  service through one or more of the following options:

  1.  Carry-in service. You may return your Product to an Apple Retail or Apple Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”) location offering carry-in service
  2. Mail-in service. If Apple determines that your Product is eligible for mail-in service, Apple will send you prepaid waybills and applicable packaging material so that you may ship your Product to an Apple Repair Service (“ARS”) or AASP location. Apple will pay for shipping to and from your location if instructions regarding the method of packaging and shipping the Product are followed.
  3. Do-it-yourself (DIV) parts service. DIV parts service allows you to service your own Product. If DIV parts service is available in the circumstances, the following process will apply (a) Service where Apple requires the return of the replaced Product or part. Apple may require credit card authorization as security for the retail price of the replacement Product or part and applicable shipping costs. If you are unable to provide credit card authorization, DIV parts service may not be available to you and Apple will offer alternative arrangements for service.

Apple will ship a replacement Product or part to you with installation instructions, if applicable, and any requirements for the return of the replaced Product or part. If you follow the instructions, Apple will cancel the credit card authorization, so you will not be charged for the Product or part and shipping to and from your location If you fa ‘I to return the replaced Product or part as instructed or return a replaced Product or part that is ineligible for service, Apple will charge your credit card for the authorized amount (b) Service where Apple does not require the return of the replaced Product or part. Apple will ship you free of charge a replacement Product or part accompanied by instructions on installation. if applicable, and any requirements for the disposal of the replaced Product or part. (c) Apple is not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to DIV parts service.

If you require service in a country where Apple does not maintain,n an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”), (a list of current service locations is provided at support.apple.com/kb/HT1434). service options may be limited. If a given service option is not available for the Apple Product m such country, Apple or its agents shall notify you about any additional shipping and handling charges which may apply before rendering service. Where international service is available, Apple may repair or replace Products and parts with comparable Products and parts that comply with local standards If any term s held to be illegal or unenforceable, it shall be severed from this warranty, and ‘the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected

This warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the country in which the product purchase took place. For Australian consumers: The rights described In this warranty are n addition to the statutory rights to which you may be entitled under the Competit on and Consumer Act 2010 and other applicable Australian consumer protection laws and regulations.
