OPERATION

This fridge/freezer can be powered using either DC 12V/24V power or AC 240V power.
Using DC 12V/24V Connection

  1. Connect the DC power cord into the power input port on the fridge.
  2. Insert the DC power cord into a 12V/24V socket (cigarette lighter).

Using AC 240V Connection

  1. Connect the AC power cord into the power input port on the fridge.
  2. Connect the AC power cord into a 240V electrical outlet.

Battery protection
Select Low, Med or High positions on the Battery protection switch (next to the power input), to select different levels of battery protection. In the below table you can find the voltages when the compressor stops running (cut- out) and when the compressor  restarts (cut-in) for each of the levels.

Battery protection 12V cut-out 12V cut-in 24V cut-out 24V cut-in
Low 10.2±0.3V 11.2±0.3V 21.6±0.3V 23.0±0.3V
Med 10.7±0.3V 11.7±0.3V 22.6±0.3V 24.0±0.3V
High 11.7±0.3V 12.7±0.3V 24.6±0.3V 26.0±0.3V

Turning the Fridge On/Off

  • Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn the fridge on. The fridge will enter standby mode.
  • The LED display on the control panel will turn on and the interior temperature is displayed. The compressor will delay starting for 3 minutes and the Power indicator will turn green.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Solution
The fridge is not turning on. • Check whether the unit has been  turned on.

• Check the power supply (try a different power source, i.e. a different vehicle or electrical outlet).
• Check whether the plug and the socket have a good connection.
• Check whether the fuse has been burned out or blown.
Poor refrigeration performance.| • Check whether the unit has been turned on.
• Check the power supply (try a different power source, i.e. a different vehicle or electrical outlet).
• Check whether the plug and the socket have a good connection.
• Check whether the fuse has been burned out or blown.
Sound of running water from inside the
unit.| This is normal and is due to the flow of refrigerant in the unit.
Unusual noise during operation.| The refrigerator is not placed on a level surface.

Error Codes
When the electronic control module of compressor malfunctions, the LED display will show ER1, ER2, ER3, ER4, ER5 and compressor will stop working. After rectifying the fault, please wait for 3 minutes before starting the operation.
When an NTC (temperature sensor) failure is detected, the LED display shows ER0 and ER9 and after rectifying the fault, the display will show the internal temperature again.

Error Code Problems Solution
ER0 Temperature sensor short circuit (atthis point the compressor enters a

regular operating mode, (i.e.,) worksfor 30 minutes then stops for 30 minutes).| Change the temperature sensor
line.
ER1| Input under-voltage protection| • Change the battery.
• Check the lower battery protection switch.
ER2| DC fan over-current protection| Change the fan.
ER3| Compressor start-up problem| Interrupt power and keep it idle for 30 minutes and then restart.
ER4| The rotational speed of the compressor is abnormal| Change the main controller.
ER5| The temperature of the control module is abnormal| Move the fridge in a cool place, cool the module then restart.
ER9| Temperature sensor opencircuit(at this point the compressor enters a regular operating mode, works for 30 minutes then stops for 30 minutes.)| • Tighten the temperature sensor line.
• Change the temperature sensor line.
