INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The device requires Android 5.0 or later or iOS 8.5 or later. Make sure your smartphone supports Bluetooth 4.0 low energy standard (BLE). Please note that the watch is not waterproof, be careful and avoid flooding the device.
General view
Note: Before first use, charge the device for at least 4 hours. If the device is not used for a long time, charge it once a week.
Charging the device
Use the included USB cable that ends in a clip with two pins. Gently attach
the clip to the watch so that the pins touch the charging contacts on the
bottom of the watch. Use the USB jack on your PC or a standard DCSV smartphone
charger as a power source.
Note that the kit does not short-circuit the USB power adapter
How to turn on and navigate
Navigation through the functions/options of the smartband follows the
following rules:
- move between functions/options – short tap on the selection button
- confirm selection -touch and hold ~2 seconds
First connection to a smartphone
IMPORTANT: Setting the time, date and other parameters is done only from the installed FITPRO application, which should be downloaded from the Google Play store (android) or Apple store
IMPORTANT: Do not pair MT871 from the Bluetooth interface of the smartphone, but from the pre-installed FITPRO app
- Smartband and the application for proper operation requires active location service (GPS) , active Bluetooth and data transmission (WIFI locally or mobile data transmission),
- After installing the FITPRO application, you can pair the watch right away. However, we recommend that you create a user account, so that measurements, achievements and other parameters will be saved.
- Launch FITPRO. Click the icon (1) and then (2) to search for the device
- After a while, a list of searched Bluetooth devices will appear, and among them is the.MT871″ watch (3). Click on this name, and the process of synchronization, time and date setting, etc. will follow.
The FITPRO app will ask for permissions for access, to smartphone functions, including contacts, which is necessary for proper operation. You will need to agree and approve each time.
Smartband functions
- Clock face with date, day of the week. battery status and Bluetooth connection status with the app. Press and select button to switch to 12/24h mode
- Pedometer, number of calories bumed, distance
- Pulse, oxygen saturation and blood pressure
Exercise menu
- Press and hold the selection button to enter the submenu. For each type of exercise, the amount of calories burned in a given time is calculated:
- skipping, squats, fast walking
- Text messaging (after enabling this feature in the FITPRO application)
Function menu
- Press and hold the selection button to enter the submenu:
- sleep monitor (only in cooperation with the app)
- external temperature downloaded from the Internet (only in cooperation with the application)
- simple control of song playback from a smartphone
- camera trigger (with app)
- smartphone search (with app)
- watch reset
- qr code to download the app from the store
- smartband shutdown
How to take measurements
Important. Smartband MT871 is not a medical device and is in no way a
substitute for professional medical devices for measuring heart rate, blood
pressure and oxygenation. The results can only be regarded as informational
and theoretical.
In case of ambiguity, please consult your doctor.
To ensure that pulse, oxygen and pressure measurements have the best possible probability, make sure that the watch is fastened neither too tightly nor too loosely on the wrist. The level of measurement can be affected by the degree of hairi- ness, tan or oiliness (e.g. cream). Measurements can be activated via the watch or app by clicking on one of the icons.
Managing the watch’s functions
Once the watch is added and the connection is active, you can go to the „Set”
option to set or run the rest of the device’s functions.
Note – the order and naming of functions may vary depending on the version and
language of your smartphone system.
- Find – finding the watch (light vibration)
- Remote shutter – activates the smartphone’s camera and allows you to take a picture remotely
- Message push – setting smartpho- ne apps that can display messages on the watch
- Dial settings – access dozens of creative dials and the ability to swap them on the watch
- Reset device – reset the watch
- Remove – disconnect (remove) the watch and data from the app
- Other – enable weak vibration
- OTA upgrade – remote update of the smartband’s firmware
- Background setting – setting application permissions
