ABESTORM Guardian SNS90 198 Pints Crawl Space Dehumidifiers

Product Information

The product is a Guardian Series Dehumidifier. It comes with an extensive warranty plan and to register for the warranty, the user needs to fill out and return the warranty form provided in the dehumidifier box. The dehumidifier has a model number (Guardian SNS90) and a serial number. The electrical supply requirement is a 3-prong, GFCI outlet. The dehumidifier utilizes its integral humidistat to monitor the conditioned space and operates by drawing air across an evaporator coil, condensing moisture out of the air, reheating it through a condenser coil, and distributing it back into the room. The installation requires sealing the area to be controlled with a vapour barrier and sealing all vents if installed in a crawlspace. The dehumidifier should be placed on a level surface and connected to a 15 amp grounded circuit.

Product Usage Instructions

  5. Principle of Operation: The dehumidifier uses an integral humidistat to monitor the relative humidity in the conditioned space. When the humidity goes above the set point, the dehumidifier activates. Moisture is condensed out of the air by drawing it across an evaporator coil, and then the air is reheated and distributed back into the room through a condenser coil.
  6. Installation:
    • Seal the area to be controlled with a vapour barrier.
