BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging material.
- Clean the exterior of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.
- WARNING! Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- When your appliance heats up for the first time, it may emit a small amount of smoke or a slight odour. This is normal and poses no safety concerns.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Making the batter
- Place the appliance on a flat, level surface near an electrical outlet.
- Close the appliance, then plug it into the socket to preheat it. The red indicator lights up, indicating that the appliance is preheating. Prepare your ingredients while the appliance is preheating.
- When the green indicator light goes on, the preheating process is complete. Brush a small amount of oil onto the plates, then ladle on just enough batter. If necessary, use a spatula to spread the batter evenly. Do not allow the batter to overflow.
- Close the appliance, lock the handle and allow the batter to cook. As baking starts, steam may come out. Do not touch the handle until the steam stops. During the cooking process, you may check to see whether the food is ready.
- Once the waffle is cooked to your taste, raise the lid using the handle and use a non-metallic utensil to remove the waffle from the cooking plate.
- If cooking more than one batch in a session, be sure to lower the lid in between batches to maintain the right cooking temperature.
- When you have finished cooking, unplug the appliance from the socket and leave it open to allow it to cool.

• 1 pinch of salt
• 2 packets of vanilla sugar
• 150g flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• 300ml milk
• 2 teaspoons of grated chocolate

Separate the eggs. Whip the soft butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt into a froth. Stir in the egg yolks one by one. Mix the flour with the baking powder, then add to the batter alternately with the milk and mix well.
Beat the egg white
until stiff, add the grated chocolate, and then fold into the mixture.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- After use and before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and wait for the appliance to cool down.
- Wipe the inside and the edges of the plate with absorbent paper towel or a soft cloth.
