It’s important to note that it does not have LAN, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth capabilities. It operates based on ESC/POS commands and is designed for Windows systems. Please be aware that it is not compatible with iOS devices such as iPad or iPhone and does not work with platforms like Square, Doordash, Uber, or GrubHub. It’s essential to verify system and app compatibility before use.

Serial Interface & Cashbox Interfaces

Serial Interface:

• The thermal receipt printer features an RS-232 standard serial interface with a default communication baud rate of 115200.
• Connecting Money Counters: We offer two types of connection harnesses, RS232 male to male wire harness and RS232 male to female wire harness, which can be used to connect various money counting machines available in the market. Additionally, it can connect to our N10, N30, N70, and S-75 money counters.
• Connecting to PC: The printer is compatible with various drivers, including WIN2003, WINXP, WIN7, WIN8, and WIN10. If your computer supports an RS-232 interface, you can use the RS-232 wiring harness included in the accessories. If your computer lacks an RS-232 interface, you will need a USB to Male Serial Cable conversion harness to establish a connection.

Cashbox Interfaces:

• The cashbox interface follows the RJ-11 standard and utilizes a 6-wire socket, providing a DC24V/1A power signal to operate the cashbox. Simply insert the RJ-11 crystal connector of the cashbox into the cashbox interface on the printer to open the cashbox.

Function Description of Keys and Indicators

• FEED Button:
  • Press the FEED button once to advance the paper, and hold it down to continuously feed the paper.
  • Simultaneously holding down the FEED button while turning on the product initiates a self-test print.
• POWER Indicator: The green light indicates a constant connection to the power supply.
• ERROR Indicator: The red light flashes to signal a printer error, such as paper shortage, paper jam, print head overheating, print head error, or other irregularities.
• Paper Indicator: The red light remains on in the event of paper shortage and turns off when paper is detected by the paper shortage sensor.

HOW TO USE

• Initial Setup: Unpack the printer and assemble it according to the provided instructions, ensuring all components are correctly connected.
• Power Connection: Plug the printer into a compatible power source and switch it on using the designated power switch or button.
• Paper Loading: Access the paper compartment, insert a thermal paper roll as demonstrated in the illustration, and securely close the compartment.
• Connectivity: Establish the desired connection to your POS system, whether through USB, RS-232, or other supported interfaces.

INSTALLATION

Installation Method of Thermal Paper:

1. Lift the upper cover of the printer.
2. Insert the roll paper following the illustration.
3. Pull out a portion of the paper, and then close the cover as depicted.
4. Use the cutter to tear off the paper.

Notes:

1. Plug in the printer’s power cord (DC12V/DC8.5V) first, then connect the AC100V-240V power supply, and finally, switch on the power. Do not reverse this sequence to avoid damaging the machine.
2. When plugging in the printer’s power cord, be sure to grip the arrow position of the printer power connector, not the cord itself, to prevent damage.
3. Using an incorrect power adapter may reduce print quality or damage the printer.
4. Avoid connecting the telephone line to the cashbox interface, as it may result in damage to both the printer and the telephone.
