IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
DO NOT touch or hold the mains plug with wet hands.
DO NOT tilt the ice maker. If tipped over, set it upright on a flat, level surface for at least 2 hours before use.
Fill the water tank with fresh potable water or connect it with a water filtration system to prolong the service life.
When using an electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

INTENDED USE

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
Use the appliance only for intended household purposes as described in this User Manual.

ELECTRICITY SAFETY

This appliance must be provided with the correct voltage via a professionally installed power socket. Make sure the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your local supply.
DO NOT operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if the product malfunctions, is dropped, or is damaged in any manner.
Always plug the appliance directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
DO NOT let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
DO NOT immerse any part in water or any other liquid.

RELATED TO USE

DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, modify, or replace any part of the appliance. No user-serviceable parts inside. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable, and level surface with sufficient ventilation, away from heat sources. Leave at least 6 inches of clearance on the sides and back for proper ventilation.
Always turn the appliance OFF and unplug it before cleaning, or whenever not in use.
Always turn the appliance OFF and unplug it before making any repairs or servicing to avoid electric shock or UV radiation.
DO NOT sit on or place any object on top of the appliance.
DO NOT use water that is micro-biologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
DO NOT use mechanical devices to defrost. Carry out a self-cleaning cycle to remove any frozen parts.
If the appliance is stored in a cold environment, wait at least 3 hours for the appliance to warm to room temperature before plugging it in.
Regarding the use of flammable blowing agents and refrigerant, dispose of the ice maker in accordance with local regulations.
Use caution and handle with care when moving, handling, and using the ice maker to avoid damaging the refrigerant tubing or increasing the risk of leakage.
Damaged parts (e.g., compressor, condenser, motor and copper pipe, etc..) shall be replaced with the same one by authorized personnel to minimize the risk of possible ignition resulting from incorrect parts or improper servicing.
This ice maker complies with the applicable terms in the Code of Federal Regulations, including 21 CFR, Chapter 1.
DO NOT attempt to replace the UV lamp by yourself. Have the lamp replaced by authorized personnel only.

KNOWING YOUR ICE MAKER

This ice maker may have been tilted or placed upside down during transportation.
Please set it upright for at least 2 hours before initial use to allow the refrigerant fluid to settle.

Control Buttons

ON/Standby

Press to start making ice or turn the unit off (standby mode).
stays solid during the making cycle.
Preset time setting is available under both ice-making and standby modes.
When pressing or under standby mode, the display will turn off if no other operation is done in 1min.

Self-cleaning

Hold for 3s to start or cancel a self-cleaning cycle.
For each cleaning cycle, the ice maker auto-cleans for the first 3mins ( stays on).
After 3mins, will flash quickly for 5mins to confirm whether to deep clean the unit. If yes, press to confirm. If no operations are done in 5 minutes, the cleaning cycle will stop automatically.
Once cleaning is done or canceled, the ice maker will enter standby mode.
After continuous running for 100 hours, will flash slowly for 30s to remind you to clean the ice maker.
Hold for 3s to start cleaning.

Preset/Current Time Setting

Press to enter the Current/Preset 1/ Preset 2 time setting.
With the time flashing, press to adjust the specific time in 5s.
The preset time is the time that the ice-making cycle starts.
To cancel the preset time setting, hold for 3s.
If power is disconnected, the current time will be remembered for 90 days.

Time Adjustment

After entering the preset/ current time setting, press to adjust the time period, hour, or minute.
During the preset time setting, press until —- displayed to cancel.
If power is disconnected, the preset time will always be remembered.

LED Display

Ice Bin Full

The indicator stays solid when the ice bin is full.
Remove ice in time.

Add Water

The indicator stays solid when the tank is lack of water.
Add water in time.

Defrosting

The indicator stays solid during auto defrosting (30-45mins). The buttons are not responsive during defrosting. Once completed, the ice-making cycle will start automatically.

USING YOUR ICE MAKER

Make sure the drain plug is firmly inserted before use.
The ice maker will stop making ice when the ice bin has been pulled out for more than 5 minutes.
Once pulled out, remember to place it back within 5 mins to continue the ice-making cycle.

Locate and Clean

Locate upright on a flat, level surface with at least 6 inches of clearance on the sides and back. Clean the tank, ice bin, and ice scoop, then settle for at least 2 hours before first use.

Add Water Manually

Open the front door and pull the ice bin out. Fill the water tank with potable water below the MAX line. Place the ice bin back and close the door.
Recommended water type: distilled or demineralized water (hardness < 12 grains per gallon) at 40~82°F.

Start Making Ice

Plug into a properly installed grounded outlet, then press the button to start the making cycle. It will keep making ice until the ice bin is full.

Scoop Ice Out

The ice maker will start to produce ice in 15 minutes. Scoop the ice cubes out once made.
Put in use or store in a freezer to avoid melting.
If the ice bin is placed back in 5 minutes, the ice maker will continue making ice.

Automatic Refilling

To add water automatically, connect the included hose to the water supply system as instructed. An adapter (not included) may be required as per the type of water supply system in your home.
To avoid overflow of water, do not add water manually when the ice maker is already connected to the water supply system.

Insert the Hose

Fully insert the included hose into the water inlet till the end is reached.
To remove, hold against the gray ring and pull out.

Connect with the Water Supply System

Connect the other end with the water supply system. A 1/4” connector may be required.
It is recommended to connect with a water filtration system to avoid blockage by scale or mineral build-up.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Self-Cleaning

To keep your nugget ice tasting fresh, we recommend that you carry out self-cleaning at least once every 1 to 2 weeks.
Fill the tank with water below the MAX line or connect with the water supply system.
Hold for 3s to start a self-cleaning cycle.
The ice maker auto cleans for the first 3mins ( stays on).
After 3mins, will flash quickly for 5mins to confirm whether to deep clean the unit. If yes, press to confirm.
If no operations are done in 5mins, the cleaning cycle will stop automatically
Once completed, will turn off.
Unhook the drainpipe and lay down to a sink.
To resume ice-making, press again.

Regular Cleaning

Unplug and take out the ice bin. Remove the water filter on the right corner of the tank.
Rinse clean the ice bin and water filter with diluted detergent and warm water
Clean the water tank with diluted detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth. Add water to rinse and drain out the water
Gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

To remove the fallen dirt or fibers, we recommend cleaning the ice bin and water tank once a week. Unplug before cleaning.

Removal of Scale /Mineral Build-up

Fill the water tank with warm water (around 90°F) below the MAX line.
Add in distilled white vinegar or ice maker cleaner. Set aside for at least 18 hours.
Hold for 3s to start a self-cleaning cycle. If flashes, press to continue. Repeat for at least 3 cleaning cycles.
Drain the mixture and continue running 3 cleaning cycles with fresh water for each rinse.

For scale or mineral build-up, follow the directions to deep clean periodically or when needed.
Do not clean with solvents or chemicals.
When not in use for an extended period of time, drain the water tank and clean as instructed.
Cover and store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.

Normal ice-making noise

Your new ice maker may make sounds that are not familiar. Most of these sounds are normal. Hard surfaces like the floor, walls, and countertops can amplify these sounds. The following describes the sounds and the causes
WHIR – When the ice maker is turned on for the first time, you may notice the condenser fan spinning.
BUZZ – When the water pump turns on for the first time, it may be dry and slightly noisy. Once filled with water, the noise reduces significantly.
RATTLE – Rattling noises may be produced from the flow of the refrigerant. These noises should be reduced significantly once the refrigerant system has stabilized.
GURGLE – When the refrigerant system shuts off, there may be a brief gurgle as the refrigerant stops flowing.
HUM – The compressor is a motor. It produces a low-toned humming sound while it is running.
CLICK – As nugget ice is produced, it drops into the ice drawer. The first nuggets produced are the loudest, as they impact the bottom of the ice bin.
As the bin fills, this noise reduces significantly.
SQUEAK – When the ice maker is in need of defrosting, it may start to squeak as the ice starts to build up around the mechanisms. The defrost cycle is automatic and may take 30-45 minutes.
During this time, the front button won’t respond. More frequent squeaking usually requires white vinegar cleaning to remove internal mineral scale buildup.

This product is covered with an Oraimo product and labor warranty for 12 months from the date of its original purchase.

The warranty will not apply in cases of:

Misuse, dismantling, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
Any appliance that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes.
Use of force, natural hazards, and damage caused by external influences.
Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.
Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
Defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or alteration to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by unauthorized personnel.
We can only provide after-sales service for products that are sold by Oraimo or Oraimo-authorized retailers and distributors.
