HDMI 2.1 Splitter 1×2 Attention:
High speed signals are very demanding on HDMI cables, please use HDMI 2.1 cables of AWG26 or above and less than 3m in length

Not working/Flicker/ black screen/ abnormal color

  1. Please check the LED lights. If the LED lights are off, Please contact the product support team
  2. Please make sure a correct HDMI input port on the display has been selected.
  3. Please connect HDMI source device and HDMI display devices directly to see if they display normally.
  4. Clean dust on video ports with a dry pad.
  5. Ensure all devices and accessories in your setup are support HDMI 2.1 57
  6. When you get black screen, please try to set scaler ON or adjust lower resolution(Maybe 5 colour space 4:4:4,4:2:0 Colour depth 12 /10/8bit) on the source. Also we can try to change shorter HDMI cable as well.
  7. Down scaler limited
  8. *Only down scaler from 4K to 1080P,not 1440P and others
  9. *Do not down scaler refresh rate,If you play 4K60Hz, it will down to 1080P60Hz, if you play 4K120Hz it will down to 1080P120Hz.
  10. Do not down scaler Dolby Vision picture.
  11. Source setting YUV4:4:4,YUV 4:2:0,YUV 4:2:2
  12. Please connect HDMI source device and HDMI display devices directly to see if they display normally.
  13. Try following the steps to turn on the monitor first – connect the Splitter – power on the signal source and see if it displays properly

Setup of 8K HDMI2.1 Splitter

  1. Step 1:Connect HDMI Source devices to HDMI Splitter’s Input port with HDMI 2.1 cable(<3m).  2:Connect each display device(Such as monitor or projector) to the HDMI Splitter’
  2. Step 2: Output port with HDMI 2.1 cable(<3m).
  3. Step 3:Connect the 5V2A Power adapter intothe HDMI Audio extractor.
  4. Step 4:Set the video and Audio formats you want with EDID
  5. These are the basic conditions, please adjust the EDID according to the actual situation for different devices, please refer to XXX for details
  6. Note: HDMI cable length on both sides should not exceed 3m (10ft), and each input/output cable length should not exceed 2m.

Monitors with different resolutions

If the maximum resolution of the two monitors is different, be able to select 4K 120Hz or 1080P120HZ with a maximum bandwidth support of 40Gpbs

Please manually reduce the resolution of the video source device to the lowest resolution of bothmonitors, otherwise it will only be displayed on the monitor with the higher resolution.
You can connect the test resolution to OUT1, with EDID set to _COPY. Finally, power on the signal source

No image output scaler set to ON
Please set EDID to OFF OFF OFF or OFF OFF ON. EDID copy OUT 1 prior, the highest audio &visual format is depending on your highest device which is connecting to HDMI OUT1.

If your HDMI source, display devices support both HDR Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos, then HDMI S plitter can support both accordingly.

The 8K HDMI Splitter can’t output contentat 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz?

  1. Ensure that all involved devices and accessories support HDMI 2.1,
  2. for instance, your laptop, the cable, and the monitor.
  3. Ensure using an HDMI cable within 10ft (3m)for input and within 10ft (3m) for output. Keepthe total length of both within 10ft (3m).
  4. Adjust resolution setting to 4K@120HZ 4:2:0.
  5. Both source and display set to 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz.
  6. Please connect HDMI source device and HDMI display devices directly to see if they display normally.

HDMI 2.1 Splitter no audio output

Incorrect audio settings. Set the correct EDID according to your signal source and display settings.
The source and display device sound settings should always be Default in COPY1 mode, the highest audio & visual format is depending on your highest devicewhich is connecting to HDMI OUT1.
Please make sure the length of your HDMI 2.1 cables is within the 3m
Note: Cannot output two different formats audio at the same time

There is a format about the sound:

When play 2.1 CH, 3.5mm stereo& and SPDIF,HDMI work together
When play 5.1CH, only SPDIF and HDMI works.
When play 7.1CH/Atmos, It just stream out from HDMI OUT.

Display keeps flickering?

  1. Ensure that all involved devices and accessories support the required resolution and refresh rate, for instance, your laptop, the cable, and the monitor.
  2. HDMI 2.1 cable less than 3m.
  3. Adjust resolution setting to 4K120HZ 4:2:0
  4. Re-plug the device and ensure that everything is plugged properly.
  5. Try updating the operating system of your output device (computer).
  6. No image output scaler set to ON
  7. DO NOT down-scaler Refresh rate and Dolby Vision
  8. Please TURN OFF Scaler when playing 4K HDR Dolby Vision
  9. Source setting YUV4:4:4,YUV 4:2:0,YUV 4:2:2
  10. Please connect HDMI source device and HDMI display devices directly to see if they display normally.
  11. Try following the steps to turn on the monitor first – connect the Splitter – power on thesignal source and see if it displays properly

How to get DTS/Dolby soundwhenusingPS4 PRO, XBOX ONE,PS5?

  1. Please set HDMI source to Bitstream audio out, different source has different setting.
  2. PS4 PRO: Settings—-Sound and Screen—-Audio Output Settings
  3. XBox ONE:Settings—-Audio output —-Speaker audio—HDMI audio—Bitstreamout
  4. PS5:Sound-Audio output-HDMI device type-Amplifier/soundbar
  5. If you wish to change the audio settings on your PS5 console, go to the home screenand select “Settings” and then “Sound”. Select “Audio Format (priority)” and choose “Bitstream (DTS) or Dolby Digital”,

How to get 4K 120HZ VRR ALLM when using PS5,XBOX, Nvidia?

  1. PS5 Setting—“Screen and
    Video”-Resolution—Automatic,VRR—Automatic,120Hz Output—Automatic,ALLM—Automatic,Saved Data and Game/App Settings”-Game Presets-Performance Mode or Resolution Mode“

  2. XBOX Setting—Select Profile & system and go to Settings— In the General category, choose the TV & display options.–Set the resolution to 4K UHD—set the refresh rate to 120Hz. Video modes–Allow variable refresh rate

  3. Nvidia Setting—go to Nvidia settings, under resolution settings, scroll downtothe PC ones and select the 4K resolution option. This will enable you to pick the120hz option.

Does not down-scale HDR Dolby Vision 4K 60Hz 4:2:2

  1. If screen wash out, due to buyer down-scale 4K HDR Dolby Vision. Please turn off Scaler.
  2. Without down-scaling, when play 4K HDR Dolby Vision, please ensure TV supports 4K HDRDolby Vision. Because of Splitter copy TV`s EDID, that means TV supports 4K HDR DolbyVision, then splitter can copy that EDID, pass 4K HDR Dolby Vision signal to TV.
  3. We suggest buyer to get technical support from seller, we can find the real problem for buyer.
  4. Sometime, just change HDMI source Video and Audio setting to solve using issue. But buyers do not realize this.

How to get HDR (HDR 10 & HDR Dolby Version) picture?

  1. Please connect HDMI source to TV directly without splitter, test if TV can support HDMI source HDR/HDR10/HDR Dolby Version. When TV cannot display HDMI source HDR infocorrectly, that means TV issue, not splitter issue.
  2. Please connect 4K HDR display to HDMI splitter OUT 1, splitter copy OUT 1 EDID prior.
  3. PS4 PRO: Settings—-Sound and Screen—-Video Output Settings-HDR10
  4. XBox ONE: Settings—-Video output —-Display-Advanced—-Video modes
  5. HDR Dobly Vision

Scaler has picture problems afterwards

  1. Position 1-2 Set OFF Pass Through,4K 120HZ
  2. Position 1-2 Set ON Down Scaler from 4K to 1080P
  3. If HDMI Source is 8k@60Hz/4k60Hz like PS5 or XBOX, can downscale to 1080P@60Hz
  4. If HDMI Source is 4K@120Hz like P55 or XBOX, OUT2 candownscale to 1080P@120Hz
  5. DO NOT down-scaler Refresh rate and Dolby Vision
  6. Please TURN OFF Scaler when playing 4K HDR Dolby Vision
  7. Source setting YWUV4:44,YUV 4:2:0,YUV 4:2:2
  8. Please connect HDMI source device and HDMI display devices directly to see if they display normally

  1. Step 1:Connect elgato HD6OX to splitter ouT1
  2. Step 2:Connect Display/Laptop to elgato HD6OX
  3. Step 3:EDID set to COPY
