OVERVIEW
EZ-SP22H2EARCO is a 2 in 2 out splitter for HDMI with Ultra HD 4K support. This splitter reliably switch two HDMI source signal to two HDMI outputs. Especially when you have TV do not support eARC, You can use this splitter to emulate an eARC port and transmit high quality Atmos sound to your soundbar. one 4K TV and one 1080P TV, It supports 4K and 1080P output simultaneously. It supports HDMI 2.0 specification features including data rates up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit, Dolby vision, HDR and HDCP2.2, Deep Color, 3D, Lip Sync, and HD lossless Audio/Video formats. Output2 support ARC/eARC for soundbar when the out2 switch set to ‘soundbar mode(ARC/eARC)

INSTALLATION

Splitter mode

1. Connect 2 HDMI2.0 cable (less then 3M) from HDMI source devices to HDMI Splitter input.
2. Connect 2 HDMI2.0 cable less then 3M) from each display (monitor or projector) to the HDMI Splitter outputs
3. Out2 switch set to ‘splitter mode’.

Soundbar mode(ARC/eARC)

1. Connect 2 HDMI2.0 cable(less then 3M) from HDMI source devices to HDMI Splitter input.
2. Connect 1 HDMI2.0 cable(less then 3M) from display (monitor or projector) to the HDMI Splitter output1;Connect 1 HDMI2.0 cable(less then 3M) from soundbar HDMI(ARC/eARC) to the HDMI Splitter output2
3. Out2 switch set to ‘Soundbar mode(ARC/eARC).

INSTRUCTION

Tun the scaler position 1 ON and output1 will output 1080P signal;
Tun the scaler position 1 OFF and output1 will pass through signal;
Tun the scaler position2 ON and output1 will output 1080P signal;
Tun the scaler position2 OFF and output1 will pass through signal;
Splitter Mode
OUT 1 & OUT 2 are used as normal splitter, the two mirror outputs do not support eARC
Soundbar Mode (ARC/eARC)
OUT 2 will simulate an eARC interface to provide Atmos sound for the soundbar

USING TIPS

1. Re-powering and unplugging the HDMI cable is a common troubleshooting method.
2. In splitter mode, the two outputs are mirrored and can also be used as an HDMI switch2X1, not 2X2 matrix.
3. In soundbar mode, OUT2 only for audio(ARC/eARC), Please make sure all devices in the setup support ARC/eARC
4. Please use qualified or brand-new HDMI 2.0 standard cable less than 3 meter.
5. This device does not have an infrared receiving window. If you want to use the remote control to switch input, please connect the infrared receiving head to the IR Ext.

NOTES

Please use this machine based on below instructions to keep longer lifetime.

1. The machine should be placed at the spot far away from the Damp, High-Temperature, Dusty, Erosive, and Oxidant environment.
2. All parts will be free from the strong shake, hit, fall.
3. Touching the device with the wet hands is prohibited.
4. Please turn power off when machine is not used for long time.
5. Please do not open the cover and do not touch the inside parts.
6. Please use the original factory power adaptor.
7. Before power on, please check the connection cable carefully.

And make sure that all interfaces are normally connected.
