Nebula Mars3 Projector
Congratulations on your purchase of the Nebula Mars3 projector! Here are
some tips to help you get the most out of your new device.
Charging
Before using the projector for the first time, it is recommended to fully
charge it using the standard DC-IN adapter or by connecting it to a power
source. This will ensure that the battery level is sufficient.
Power On/Off
To turn on the projector, slide the lens cover down. After 6 seconds, the
Nebula startup screen will appear. To turn off the projector, slide the lens
cover back up.
Mode Indicator
The ring-shaped battery indicator displays the remaining battery power of
the projector at any time. When the device is turned off, you can press the
Mode button to check the battery level.
Power Indicator
When the device is turned on, press the Mode button to switch between
different power modes:
- Eco Mode: Reduces brightness to save energy.
- AI Brightness Mode: Adjusts brightness according to the environment.
Joystick
The Mars3 features a special joystick design for use with Android TV,
eliminating the need for a separate remote control.
Adjustable Stand
The stand on the bottom of the projector can be tilted up to 10 degrees,
making it easy to adjust the screen height.
Built-In Ambient Light
The projector’s ambient light feature has three brightness levels that can
be toggled with a short press of a button.
Charge Out
The Mars3 supports charging for external devices via the USB-C and USB-A
ports. To use:
- When the projector is turned on, simply connect your device via a cable to automatically start charging.
- When the projector is turned off, hold the Mode button until your connected device starts charging.
- To stop charging, hold the Mode button again.
Autofocus and Auto Keystone
Automatic Screen Alignment: Activate ScreenFit by selecting Settings > Projector Settings > Image Correction > Auto Screen Fit Settings. To perfectly align your projector to the screen, please make sure:
- The screen has a black border.
- The projector image fully covers the screen.
- Mars3 is placed in an appropriate position.
Downloading the Nebula Connect and Nebula Play Apps
Download Nebula Connect from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to conveniently control your Mars3.
Download Nebula Play from the Google Play Store to your Mars3 to get Netflix, instructions, Quick Start Guide, tips, FAQs, and support information.
Netflix
- Go to the Google Play Store. Search for the Nebula Play app and install it on your projector.
- Open Nebula Play and go to Netflix Installation in the Tips module. You can install Netflix from this section.
- Netflix is ready to use. Note: Netflix will appear in the second position on the Nebula Play channel on the home screen.
Updating Firmware
Keep your device’s firmware up to date for the best performance.
You can do so by going to:
- Settings > Device Preferences > About > System Update
- Settings > Projector Settings > Update > Firmware Update
Positioning Your Projector
The distance between Nebula Mars3 and the projection surface must be a minimum of 0.8m and a maximum of 5.3m. This ensures a projection image between 30 and 200 inches. For best results, set the projector between 1.6m and 2.65m away. Here is a list of screen sizes relevant to projection distance:
- 200 inches at 5.3m
- 150 inches at 4.0m
- 120 inches at 3.2m
- 100 inches at 2.6m
- 80 inches at 2.1m
- 50 inches at 1.3m
- 30 inches at 0.8m

Settings. Slightly move the device or press the focus button on the remote to
trigger autofocus and auto keystone correction.
Mars 3 supports auto and manual vertical and horizontal ±40° keystone
correction. Go to Settings > Projector Settings > Image Correction, and turn
on Auto Keystone Correction. You can also manually adjust by turning off the
feature.
