DELAMU DLM Cord Hider User Guide
Warning
- Not to be used to extend hard-wired (permanent) electrical wiring.
- Do not loop the cable and wires.
- Not suitable for uneven surfaces.
- Be careful of the edges at raceway ends in case of accidental cuts when handling it..
- Our tape is very sticky and it is best to plan your route before installing the raceway to prevent damage to the wall when removing the tape for installation.
- If you must remove the tape for some reason, peel it off slowly (or use a knife to gently assist in removing the tape).
Install with Tape
Plan the Route
Plan the route of raceway for your cables and learn which connectors are
needed to handle the turn, corner, or joint. Refer to the image on the right
to determine the accurate spacing of each connector.
Measure the Distance
Measure the distance and determine the length required of the raceway
channel. Use a pencil to mark the exact spot where you are going to mount the
cable raceway.
Cut the Channel
Cut the channel with a hand saw downward smoothly and evenly based on the
length required and the spot marked.
Mark the Ends
Place the raceway against the wall, and use a pencil to mark both ends of
the raceway on the wall. Use a level as a guide to make sure the raceway is
straight.
Apply the Tape
Slide off the channel cover and cut the tape of the right length, then peel
off the protective film on the tape and apply the adhesive tape to the back of
the channel.
Stick the Channel On the Wall
Attach the channel to the place as marked before on the wall. Press the
channel firmly against the wall to ensure it adheres to the wall snugly.
Put into the Cables
Place the cables neatly inside the channel, and make sure the cables aren’t
twisted or overlapping.
Put on the Channel Cover & Appropriate Connectors
Put the channel cover on by sliding it until the installation is finished.
Then, snap on the appropriate connectors into place.
