BARSKA BB11613 Illuminated Magnifier
Product Information
The Illuminated Magnifier 4x, 65mm LED is a handheld optical device designed to provide magnification and illumination for various tasks. It features 5 bright white LED lights and 1 UV light. Please note that directly viewing the sun or any light source with this magnifier can cause permanent eye damage. It is important to exercise caution and avoid looking at the sun through the magnifying glass. Children should always be supervised by adults while using the magnifier.
The magnifier requires 2 AAA alkaline batteries (not included) for operation. To insert the batteries, follow these steps:
- Slide off the battery compartment lid by gently sliding the cover of the battery down.
- Insert AAA alkaline batteries as shown in the provided picture.
- Replace the battery compartment lid by sliding it back on until it snaps shut.
To turn the magnifier on/off and control the lights, use the on/off switch located on the top of the device:
- Slide the switch up to turn on the 5 LED white lights.
- Slide the switch to the center to turn off all lights.
- Slide the switch down to turn on the UV light. The UV light can reveal markings on some currency, such as watermarks, security threads, and holograms.
When using the magnifier, follow these steps:
- Remove both pieces of protective lens film from the magnifier lens.
- Grasp the handle of the magnifier and adjust focus by lifting and lowering it.
For care and cleaning:
- To remove dirt or fingerprints, wipe the lens with a soft cloth.
- Store the magnifier in a cool, dry place away from moisture.
- Handle the magnifier with care and avoid dropping it to prevent damage.

CAUTION: DIRECTLY VIEWING THE SUN OR ANY LIGHT SOURCE WITH THIS OPTICAL DEVICE CAN CAUSE PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE.
Looking at or near the sun will cause instant and irreversible damage to your eyes. Eye damage is often painless, so there is no warning to the observer that damage has occurred until it is too late. Do not look at the sun through the magnifying glass. Children should always have adult supervision while observing.
Inserting Batteries
- Slide off the battery compartment lid by gently sliding the cover of the battery down
- Insert AAA alkaline batteries (not included), as pictured
- Replace the battery compartment lid by sliding lid back on, until it snaps shut
Turning the Magnifier On/Off
- After properly inserting the 2 AAA alkaline batteries; slide up the on/off switch located on the top of the magnifier
- ON = Slide switch up to turn on the 5 LED White Lights
- OFF = Slide switch to center to turn the lights off
- UV = Slide switch down to turn UV light on
- UV light may reveal markings on some currency such as: watermarks, security threads and or holograms
- Slide switch to center to turn the lights off
Using the Magnifier

Care and Cleaning
- To remove any dirt or fingerprints, wipe lens with a soft cloth
- Store in a cool dry place unexposed to moisture
