INSTALLING BATTERIES

To install battery, unscrew the battery compartment (C) by turning the battery cover counter clockwise and insert one 3V lithium battery, type CR2032 positive (“+”) side up. Replace the battery cover (C) by screwing the battery cover clockwise. If the reticle dims or does not illuminate at all, replace the battery.

CAUTION:

BE SURE THAT THE FIREARM IS NOT LOADED. PRACTICE SAFE FIREARM HANDLING PROCEDURES AT ALL TIMES.

ALL DISCHARGING OF FIREARMS SHOULD BE DONE AT AN APPROVED RANGE OR EQUALLY SAFE AREA. USE OF EYE AND EAR PROTECTION IS RECOMMENDED.

DIRECT VIEWING OF THE SUN CAN CAUSE PERMANENT EYE DAMAGE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO VIEW THE SUN DIRECTLY WITH EITHER THIS PRODUCT OR THE NAKED EYE.

MOUNTING

Set the base (G) of the red dot onto the base of the firearm. Align and base of the red dot with the crosscut groves of the firearms base. Tighten each cross bolt lock-nut (F).

CONVERTING THE DOVETAIL/WEAVER BASE

ZEROING

Activate the illuminated reticle by turning the rheostat knob (D) clockwise or counter-clock wise to
activate the red or green illuminated reticle. The lower numbers represent dimmer settings and the
higher numbers represent brighter settings of illumination. The “0” position indicates that the unit is turned OFF.

Remove the elevation (A) and windage (B) adjustment screw caps from the scope. With the scope
mounted, rest the gun on a solid support. Sight along the barrel and aim at a target 50 to 100 yards away. Sight through your Red-Dot and use the windage and elevation adjustments to align the lighted reticle with the target as seen along the barrel

NOTE: Each click of adjustment changes bullet strike at a shooting distance of 100 yards by the
amount indicated by the following formula: Divide the distance (number of yards) by 100. The resulting number, when multiplied by the click value stated on the windage and elevation dial plates, will yield the actual click value of the scope at the shooting distance.

FORMULA: Distance / 100 = N

N x Stated Click Value = Actual Click Value

STORAGE

Keep lens covers closed when scope is not being used to protect lenses. Remove battery when storing for extended periods. Store red dot in a cool moisture- free area.
