12V/24V Digital Car Battery Tester
Model: AD-808
Function:
- Designed to test the 12V/24V battery voltage or the voltage of the charging system.
- With LED display and LED battery status indicator.
- The rubber body comes with a crocodile clip for connection.
- Reverse connection error and over-pressure protection. Safe and easy to use.
Instructions For The Operation:
- Properly connect the battery clip to the battery post. The red clip is connected to the positive “+” of the battery and the black clip is connected to the negative”-” of the battery. If connected reversed, the LCD screen displays the error message “ERR” and the buzzer will sound, displaying the actual voltage of the battery under test correctly after 5 seconds, while the LED light will light up to indicate the battery’s real-time status.
- lf connected correctly, the LCD screen lights up and displays the voltage of the battery under test. while the LED light lights up to indicate the battery status.
- The switch has a total of three gears (default in the middle gear), the LCD screen displays 12V and V when dialed to 12V (right), while the LED light lights up to indicate a 12V battery voltage rating status light, and “24V when dialed to 24V (left) and “v, while the LED lights up to indicate a 24V battery voltage rating status light, and when dialed to the middle position (both clips are empty) display only the “V and the real-time voltage value of the battery or generator, automatically identify the 12/24V battery, higher than 18V means the 24V battery system
- To test the alternator charging system, adjust the switch to the middle position, keep the tester connected to the battery post, and then start the engine. The output voltage will display on the LCD screen and the LED light on the right lights up to show the alternator status

FULL-The LED light comes on in FULL gear Battery in normal condition
(12.6-13.5Von a 12V battery).
MEDIUM-The LED light comes on in the MEDIUM gear. The battery voltage is
slightly lower Charge required
LOW-The LED light comes on in LOW gear The battery is low. Charge required,
buzzer prompt
EMPTY. The LED light comes on in EMPTY gear. The battery is completely powered
out. Charge required, buzzer prompt
DEAD-The LED light comes on in DEAD gear The battery voltage is too low. The
battery should have a battery problem Check the battery by a professional
battery engineer to see if it should be replaced
REVERSE-The LED light comes on in REVERSE gear The battery tester is connected
in reverse to the battery post, the buzzer prompts
GOOD-The LED light comes on in the GOOD gear. The alternator output voltage IS
CORRECT
HIGH-The LED light comes on in the HIGH gear The alternator output voltage is
high. The normal output of the alternator voltage is 13.6-14.5Von a 12V
battery.

- Only for 12V/24V batteries or 12V/24V charging systems. The voltage test range is 4-30V DC, and if the voltage is out of range, the screen will display LO: <4V or “HI”: > 30v.
- Store the tester in a box after each use to protect the circuit.
