RODE R0DECASTER DUO Audio Production Studio
R0DECASTER DUO INTEGRATED AUDIO PRODUCTION STUDIO
The R0DECASTER DUO is an integrated audio production studio that allows you to create professional-quality recordings and podcasts. It features various controls and connections to enhance your audio production experience.

The R0DECASTER DUO has the following connections:

Powering the Unit On and Off
To turn the unit on, press the red power button located on the left side of
the back panel. To turn the unit off, press the power button again and follow
the prompts on the unit’s screen.
Connecting to a Network
To connect the unit to a network, you can choose one of the following
methods:
- Use an ethernet cable to connect the unit to a network router.
- Connect the unit to a WiFi network by following the on-screen prompts.
Front Panel Controls
The front panel of the R0DECASTER DUO features various controls:

- Multi-function touch screen

- Channel access button – Press to access channel functions for each fader.

- Faders – Slide up and down to control the volume of each audio source.

- Mute and solo buttons – Use to mute a specific channel and listen to a specific channel in headphone output 1.

- Headphone volume controls

- Rotary encoder – Use to alter parameter values in conjunction with the multi-function touch screen.

- SMART pads – Press to trigger sounds and other actions.

- Pad bank controls – Use to switch between pages of SMART pads.
Important Safety Information
- Read and understand the instructions and safety guide completely before using the product.
- Ensure both the instruction manual and regulatory and safety guide are accessible to all users, including when passing the product on to third parties.
- Do not open the product housing. This will void the warranty.
- Use the product only in the ways described in the instructions.
- Do not use the product if it was damaged during transportation.
- Keep the product away from liquids and electrically conductive objects that are not necessary for the operation.
- Do not use any solvents or corrosive cleaning agents to clean the product.
- Do not adjust the control of the product in an environment that requires your attention (Operating machinery, driving, etc.).
- This appliance contains batteries that are only replaceable by a skilled person.

- This device may not cause harmful interference, and
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
To ensure compliance with FCC regulations:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth in an
uncontrolled environment.
For the USA : The frequency stability of all transmission frequencies of
U-NII-1, U-NII 2A, UNII 2C, and U-NII-3 meets the requirements of 47 CFR FCC
Part15.407(g), and the manufacturer declares that their transmission is
maintained at Band U-NII-1, U-NII 2A, U-NII 2C and U-NII-3.
For Canada: The frequency stability of all transmission frequencies of
U-NII-1, U-NII 2A, UNII 2C, and U-NII-3 meets the 47 CFR FCC Part15.407(g)
requirements, and the manufacturer states that their transmissions remain
within the U-NII-1, U-NII 2A, U-NII 2C and U-NII-3 bands.
CONNECTIONS
Connect your RØDECASTER DUO as follows:
- Plug the included USB-C power adaptor into the power connector (1)
- Use the included USB-C cable to connect USB1 (2) to your computer
- A microSD card can be inserted into the socket (3) if required.
- The unit can be connected to an ethernet network using the CAT5 (4) socket if required.
- Additional UISB devices (eg USB storage devices, mobile phones, etc) can be connected to the USB2 connector (5). Additional cables (eg RØDE SC15 or 16) may be required
- Headphones should be connected to the headphone outputs (6). Up to 4 pairs of headphones can be connected.
- Monitor speakers can be connected to the Line Out (7) if required.
- Microphones and/or musical instruments are connected to the XLR Combi inputs (8).

The RØDECaster DUO must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any
other antenna or transmitter.
The device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions:

- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules. Caution:
The RØDECaster Duo has been designed to be used with the provided power
supply, as use the provided power supply only.
Stop using the power supply unit and any cables if:
- There is any damage to the charging port, power connector or power cord.
- The power supply unit is exposed to excessive moisture, or liquids is spilled into the power supply unit.
- The power supply unit enclosure is broken.
