Product Information
The Smart Outdoor Plug is a versatile device designed to make your outdoor living smarter and more convenient. It allows you to control outdoor electrical devices from your smartphone using the TreatLife app. The plug features an ON/OFF LED indicator, a silicone cover for protection, and is compatible with 2.4GHz networks. It supports Android 4.1 and above or iOS 13 and above.

Download the TreatLife APP To download the TreatLife APP, please either scan the provided QR code or search for ‘TreatLife’ in the Apple APP Store or Google Play Store.

Registration or Log-In
Tap “Register” to create a new account. Key in your Email Address to receive a verification code, and create your personal password. Alternatively, if you’re an existing TreatLife user, simply choose “Log in”. -
App Configuration for the Plug
Pre-Check: Ensure the plug is powered, your smartphone Bluetooth is ON and the phone is connected to your WiFi router with active internet connectivity.
NOTE: This plug is compatible only with 2.4GHz networks. If your phone is currently connected to a 5GHz network, please switch to the 2.4GHz network.
EZ Mode (Default Setup)
- Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until the indicator light begins to blink rapidly.
- Launch the “TreatLife” APP, which should detect the plug automatically, then click the Add button to complete the process according to the prompts in the APP.
NOTE: The pairing process should be completed within 3 minutes post plug reset.
AP Mode (Manual Setup)
Press and hold the mechanical on / off button for 5 seconds until the red
indicator light blinks.
- Open the Treatlife app and tap the + button in the top right corner of the home screen. Select “Add Device.”
- In the left navigation bar, locate “Plug” and tap on “Smart Outdoor Plug” on the right side. Then, click the “Next” button on the new page to continue.
- In the top right corner of the new page, select “AP Mode” and follow the app’s prompts to complete the network setup process.
LINK TO ALEXA / GOOGLE ASSISTANT / SMARTTHINGS
- Open the TreatLife APP and navigate to the product page.
- Tap on the pencil icon located in the upper right corner.
- Choose between Alexa, Google Assistant, or SmartThings for detailed linking instructions.
KEY STEPS TO LINK THE ALEXA SKILL
- Sign in to your Amazon account, tap on “More” in the Alexa menu, then select “Skills & Games”.
- Search for “TreatLife”, then tap “Enable to Use” to proceed.
- You will be redirected to a new page where you need to enter your TreatLife account credentials (username and password) to complete the linking process.
