Download the TreatLife APP

Register or Log In

  • Scan the QR code to download the “TreatLife” APPlication.
  • Tap “Register” to create an account.
  • Enter your phone number to get a verification code and create a password. Or, choose “Log in” if you already have a TreatLife account.

Configure the APP to the Plug
Preparation: Ensure the Pulg is connected to power; Ensure your phone is connected to your WiFi router and is able to connect to the internet.

Note: This plug only supports 2.4Ghz networks. If you are connected to a 5Ghz network, please switch to the 2.4Ghz Network

Plug Pairing

Default Mode (EZ Mode)

  • First, plug in the device and ensure it is receiving power.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds then confirm the indicator light is blinking rapidly.
  • Open the “TreatLife” APP and it will find the plug automatically. Select the “Smart Plug (WiFi)” in the “Electrician” options.
  • If the plug is not automatically discovered, click the “+” at the top right of the plug list and select Auto Scan to automatically search for the plug.
  • Follow the steps in the APP to complete the plug pairing.

Note : Please complete the pairing process within 3 minutes after the plug is reset.

EZ Mode (Manual Mode)

Note: please use one of the following pairing methods if the automatic mode above did not work.

  • Click the “+” symbol in the upper right corner of the device list, and select “Smart Plug (WiFi)” in “Electrician” options.
  • Press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds until the red indicator light blinks rapidly.
  • Tap “Confirm indicator rapidly blink”;
  • Enter your Wi-Fi Password; Wait for the plug to complete the connection. Devices have added successfully.

AP Mode
If you can not configure the plug successfully with the default mode, please try to connect with AP Mode.

  • Click the “+” symbol in the upper right corner of the device list, and select “Smart Plug (WiFi)” in “Electrician” options.
  • Tap “AP Mode”on the top right corner.
  • Press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds until the red indicator light blinks rapidly. Then press and hold for 5 seconds again until the indicator light blinks slowly.
  • Tap “Confirm indicator slowly blink”
  • Follow the APP steps to complete the plug pairing.

Key Steps to Link the Alexa Skill

  • Click the Alexa icon, sign in to your Amazon account, and open the “Alexa Skills” link from the “Echo & Alexa”menu.
  • Search for the “Smart Life”, and tap “Enable”. Enter your “TreatLife” APP Account and Password, then tap “Link Now” to enable the Skill.

APP Setting

Resume Power State:
Configure the device to resume its last power state (on or off) when power is restored to the device.

Indicator Light Control:
The LED indicator on/off status can be configured in the APP.

Child Lock:
Enable this setting to disable the on/off button to prevent children from turning the plug on or off by mistake. (Press the button 4 times within 5 seconds to disable this setting)

Troubleshooting

Can’t connect to the APP.

  • Make sure the red indicator light is blinking when you are attempting to connect to APP. Default Mode Paring: Red Indicator light Blinking Rapidly.(3 times per second)
  • AP mode Paring: Red Indicator light Blinking Slowly.(2 times per second)
  • Finish the pairing within 3 minutes when the red indicator light starts blinking. (Refer to “Me-FAQ&Feedback” in the APP)
  • Move the plug closer to your wireless router to ensure there is a strong Wi-Fi signal.
  • If your router is 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz dual-band, the 2.4Ghz band may not be turned on. Please configure the router settings to turn on the 2.4Ghz band.
  • Make sure you entered the correct Wi-Fi password.

Can’t connect to the Alexa/Google assistant.

  • Check whether the Alexa / Google Assistant APP is correctly configured with the TreatLife APP account.
  • Check whether the device name is duplicated.
  • The device name of TreatLife APP must be the same as the device name in Alexa / Google APP.
  • Please refer to the manual instruction or “Me–FAQ & Feedback–All-Third-party control issues” in the APP to reconnect to the Alexa / Google Assistant.

Plug stops working after previously working

  • Remove the plug from the outlet and reinsert it. Also, try moving the plug to a different outlet that is closer to your wireless router.
  • If the plug still doesn’t work, please contact our support team.

The timing function does not work properly.

  • Check whether the device is offline.The device can’t perform the timing function when offline.
  • Remove the plug from the APP, then reset the plug and re-pair with the APP.
  • Check whether there are any conflicts in the settings such as Schedule/ Countdown / Circulate / Random / Inching.
  • You can also check “Me-> FAQ & Feedback” information in the APP.
