Cooking tips:
-
For optimal results when making waffles, all the ingredients should be at room temperature before the batter is prepared.
It is important not to enrich the batter with too much fat, sugar or egg as this can cause the waffles to colour too quickly and remain soft. -
When making grilled sandwiches, wipe the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or butter to improve their colour and ease their removal from the plates.
