Product Usage Instructions

To use the A+ Server 2014CS-TR, follow these instructions:

  1. Ensure that the product is sold as a completely-assembled system.
  2. For optimal performance, it is recommended to have 8 DIMMs. The minimum requirement is 1 CPU, 4 DIMMs, 1 HDD/NVMe, and 1 AIOM/AOC NIC card.
  3. Refer to the parts list for standard parts included in the product.
  4. Make sure you have the required BIOS version (2.3 or newer) if using the latest AMD EPYC 7003 Series Processor with AMD 3D V-Cache Technology.
  5. Connect peripherals to the available ports, such as USB devices to the USB 3.0 ports, VGA display to the VGA port, and COM devices to the COM port.
  6. If using SATA drives, connect them to the available SATA3 ports. For flexible networking, use the AIOM slots.
  7. If using M.2 drives, ensure they are compatible with the provided M.2 interface (PCI-E 4.0 x4) and form factors (2242, 2260, 2280, 22110).
  8. If using hot-swap drive bays, follow the appropriate configuration for SATA3, SAS3, or NVMe drives as specified in the product description.
  9. Ensure proper cooling and power supply by installing the system in a suitable rackmount chassis.
  10. Use the tool-less drive trays and brackets for easy installation of drives.
  11. Connect the power supplies and ensure full redundancy based on your configuration and application load.
  12. Power on the system using the Power On/O button on the front panel.
  13. Monitor the system status using the LED indicators on the front panel, including power status, HDD activity, network activity, and universal information.
