Indicators
When the device is powered on, the following icons may be displayed on the
screen. For a description of the icons, refer to the following table:

Red| Solid: No Service/Device Error
Wi-Fi LED| Blue| Solid: Wi-Fi is connected (no data transmission)
Blink: Wi-Fi is active with data transmission
Flash: WPS is activated
Off: Wi-Fi is disabled
Hardware Installation
Inserting SIM Card and Battery
- Remove the battery cover and battery
- Slide the SIM card holder to the direction of “UNLOCK” (etched on the SIM card holder) then fiip it open
- Place the SIM cord with its gold contacts facing down onto the SIM card slot
- Close the SIM cord holder and slide it to the direction of “LOCK” to lock it
- Insert the battery (with its exposed copper contacts first) into the battery compartment
- Put the battery cover back in its original position
PRT7011L support three working modes
USB Mode – Connection via the USB cable.
- Connect your device to the client with the USB cable.
- Power on your device.
- Follow the system prompts to complete the software installation.
Note:
- If the system does not launch installation automatically, you can run the installation program in the path of My Computer> LTE Mobile Hotspot.
- The driver of your device will be installed at the same time.
Unless you need to change your 4G settings or access the advanced settings of
the device, you can access the Internet without the need to configure the
device.
The WAN connection mode is “Automatic” by default.
Wi-Fi mode – Connection via Wi-Fi.
- Power on your device directly.
- It will take 1-2 minutes to initialize.
- Use your normal Wi-Fi application on the client to search for the available wireless network.
- Select the $SID of your device (default $$ID Prolink_PRT7011L_xxxxx), password is prolink12345.
- The WAN connection mode is “Automatic” by default. You can access the Internet without the need to configure the device.
- If you need to change your 4G settings or access the advanced settings of the device, refer to “Accessing the WebGUI configuration page”.
Mixed Mode – Connection via both USB and Wi-Fi.
This is a combination of using the USB cable and Wi-Fi connection.
Web-based Configuration
Accessing the WebGUI Configuration Page
Make sure the connection between your device and the client is active. Launch
the Internet browser and enter http://1192.168.1.1
The login page will appear as follow
Key in the case-sensitive default login account “admin” and default password
“password” then click Login to access the WebGUI configuration page.
The APN, Dial Number, Username, Password and Authentication will be
automatically matched with your (U) SIM by default.
Note:
If the SIM cards APN cannot be found by Auto Mode, please select “Add New•
from the Profile List and consult your operator on the APN details to be
entered.
Wizard
Wizard will guide you on setting up the basic parameters for your device in
the safest way. After this procedure, you can use your Internet service.

- SMS To send SMS and USSD
- WiFi To change the basic wireless network settings, WPA and
- WiFi MAC filter settings
- Security To set firewall with IP and Mac filtering
- System To upgrade firmware, change login password and other admin operations
Mobile Application
Mobile Application – Prolink mWiFi
Scan the QR code to install Prolink mWiFi opp on your smortphone/toblet to
configure settings, monitor usage/ connected devices, access USSD code feature
and so on (available on iOS and Android platforms).
