Introduction

DMX-512 Control Connection
The BLINDER MKIII IP has a DMX 512 input fitted with 3 pin XLR connectors. It is recommended to use screened cables in compliance with EIA RS 485 specifications for proper connections.
DMX 512 Connection with DMX Terminator
In installations where the DMX cable needs to run a long distance or is in an electrically noisy environment, it is recommended to use a DMX terminator. The DMX terminator is simply an XLR plug with a 120 OHM resistor connected between pins 2 and 3. It should be plugged into the output XLR socket of the last fixture in the chain.

BLINDER MKIII IP is a LED professional blinder for outdoor use powered by 4 x 1 0 0 W 3000k LED + 10W amber SMD. Thanks to its chip-on-board technology it reaches an amazing power and coverage. Its 4 outputs have independent focus regulation and can be controlled separately thanks to its pixel by pixel technology. Ideal for big scenarios, Neo Blinder MKIII IP is the nowadays response to the classic & powerful MiniBrut, adding a soft dimming and strobe effects that make it stand out naturally apart from an ideal power/consumption relation.

For your own personal safety, please read and understand this manual completely before you attempt to install or operate this unit!
- The electric connection must carry out by qualified person. If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Make sure that the available voltage is not higher than stated at the end of this manual.
- Make sure the power cord is never crimped or damaged by sharp edges. If this would be the case, replacement of the cable must be done by an authorized dealer.
- Always disconnect from the mains, when the device is not in use or before cleaning it. Only handle the p ower cord by the plug. Never pull out the plug by tugging the power cord.
CAUTION!
Never look directly into the light source, as sensitive persons may suffer an
epileptic shock.

Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to
warranty. The dealer will not accept liability for any resulting defects or
problems.
DMX-512 CONTROL CONNECTION
The product has a DMX 512 input fitted with 3 pin XLR connectors.
Screened cables in compliance with EIA RS 485 specifications and the following
characteristics must be used for connections:
- 2 conductors plus screen;
- 120 Ohm impedance;
- Low capacitance;
- Max. transmission rate 250kBaud.
DMX 512 CONNECTION WITH DMX TERMINATOR
For installations where the DMX cable has to run a long distance or is in an electrically noisy environment, such as in a discotheque, it is recommended to use a DMX terminator. This helps in preventing corruption of the digital control signal by electrical noise. The DMX terminator is simply an XLR plug with a 120 OHM resistor connected 3 between pins 2 and 3, which is then plugged into the output XLR between pins 2 and 3, which is then plugged into the output XLR socket of the last fixture in the chain.socket of the last fixture in the chain.

and moiste ned cloth. Never use alcohol or solvents!
There are no serviceable parts inside the device. Maintenance and service
operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers.
