SETUP

CONNECTION

FUNCTIONS

OPTIPOINT 2-POINT ACTUATION
Press the Stee/Series Function Key (3) + (0) to enable Gaming Mode, the number 1 will light up. Press the Stee/Series Function Key (3) + (I) to enable Typing Mode, the number 2 will light up.

PROFILE SWITCHING

Press the SteelSeries Function Key (3) + Profile Switching Key (4) repeatedly to cycle through the profiles.

ON-THE-FLY MACRO RECORDING

  1. Press and hold the SteelSeries Function Key (3) + On-the-fly
  2. Macro Recording Key (5) for 2 seconds to start recording.
  3. Type your desired key combinations.
  4. Press the SteelSeries Function Key (3) + On-the-fly
  5. Macro Recording Key (5) to end Macro Recording.
  6. The On-the-fly Macro Recording Key (5) will now be flashing, press the key you want to assign the Macro to.

ILLUMINATION BRIGHTNESS CONTROL

  1. Press the Stee/Series Function Key (3) + Illumination
  2. Brightness Key (Down) (6) to reduce Illumination Brightness.
  3. Press the Stee/Series Function Key (3) + Illumination
  4. Brightness Key (Up) (6) to increase Illumination Brightness.

MULTIMEDIA CONTROLS

  • Multimedia Volume Roller (1)
  • Volume Up
  • Volume Down
  • Mute / Unmute Toggle

  • Play /Pause

CUSTOMIZE YOUR KEYBOARD SWAPPABLE KEYCAPS

Each Keycap on the Apex 9 TKL can be removed and replaced. Use the Keycap Puller (11) located on the bottom of your Keyboard to easily pull off each Keycap. Replacement and additional designer Keycap sets are available for purchase on steelseries.com

SWAPPABLE SWITCHES

Each Switch on the Apex 9 TKL can be removed and replaced. Switch Puller is not included. Additional Switch sets and Switch Pullers are available for purchase on steelseries.com.
