The following should be observed to best use and maintain your device This device is intended for adult use only. This device is intended solely to monitor and determine weight. Its sole function is measurement. Monitoring weight with this device does not equate to a medical diagnosis. Keep the unit out of reach of infants or children. Use only accessories and detachable parts specified and authorized by the manufacturer. Not doing so may cause damage to the unit or danger to you. Avoid using this device on slippery wet floors or while you are wet. Do not store this device where it can be exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, moisture, sunlight, dust or where you Store chemicals and cleaners.
GETTING STARTED
Open the battery compartment on the back of the scale and insert 3 fresh AAA batteries. Note the correct position of positive (+) and negative (-) battery terminals.
The LCD will fully display for 5 seconds then turn off.
To activate calibration, tap the center of the scale once and then release. When “0.0” is displayed on the LCD, the calibration is complete.
Note: When re-inserting or replacing batteries, please follow above
Step 3 to activate calibration.
Selecting Your Unit of Measure
The scale is pre-set to calculate weight in pounds. Press the unit switch on the bottom of the scale to change the weighing mode between pounds and kilograms.
INITIALIZING YOUR SCALE
The first time you use your scale and anytime you move your scale, if will need to be initialized so that it weighs your properly. After installing the batteries, follow these quick steps to initialize your scale.
- Place your scale on a hard, flat surface (not carpet).
- Press down on the center of the platform with your foot, and then lift your foot off.
- The LCD will display “0.0” and then turn off.
- Once the display turns off, the scale is ready for Use.
To weigh yourself, simply step on the scale to take your measurement.
Measuring
- Make sure your scale is on a hard flat surface, not carpet, and has been initialized.
- Step directly onto the platform and the scale will automatically power on for weight measurement.
- Keep as still as possible. The LCD display will flash 3 times and show your weight.
- Indicated weight will display for approximately 15 seconds while you are standing on the scale.
- If you step off the scale, indicated weight will disappear and the display will go dark after 5 seconds to conserve battery power.
Note -If the scale is turned on and no measurement is taken, it will shut of automatically after 5 seconds.
SETTING UP REMINDERS
Turning On the Reminder Setting
Choose a convenient time of day for your weigh-in. Turn the scale over and press the button (24H/Alarm), an alarm icon () will display on the LCD indicating that the alarm has been set. The alarm will beep at the same time every 24 hours to remind you weigh-in.
Turning Off the Reminder
Press the (24H/Alarm) button again, and the alarm icon will disappear on the LCD.
Stopping the Alarm
When the alarm beeps, simply step on the scale to silence the alarm. If no measurement is taken, the alarm will automatically shut off after about 25 seconds.

Can this scale be calibrated at home?
Yes, it’s quite easy. A small knob is located at the bottom. When not in use, all you have to do is turn the tiny knob clockwise or counterclockwise until the scale’s dial is precisely at zero. The scale will occasionally deviate from zero after extensive use, and all it takes to return it back to zero is to “calibrate” it.
