NOTE: Seat Adjuster Bracket has been designed to work with Rugged Ridge XHD seats. Will not work with factory or other manufacturers aftermarket seats.

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Remove the seat from the factory riser.
Step 2: Disconnect the seat slid-fold cable and reroute it under the seat riser and through the front plastic retainer loop. (Refer to pic.2)
Step 3: Connect the cable to the rear cross member. (Refer to pic.3)
Step 4: Connect the cable to the adjuster bracket. The cable should be connected to the back hole of the bracket. (Refer to pic.4)
Step 5: Secure the bracket to the factory rear threaded seat mount. (Refer to pic.5)
Step 6: Place the small M8 flat washer over the threaded hole. Place the nylon spacer over the small washer. Place the adjuster bracket over the spacer. (Refer to pic.6)
Step 7: Place the large M8 flat washer onto the M8 bolt. Put a small amount of thread lock on the bolt and secure it to the seat riser. (Refer to pic.7)
Step 8: Tighten the M8 bolt, but do not over tighten it. Move the adjuster arm to ensure it moves freely. (Refer to pic.8)
NOTE: The adjuster has been designed to function with all Rugged Ridge XHD seats. The following instructions explain the correct routing of the return spring around the XHD steel mounting spacer. (Refer to pic.9)
Step 9: Following the instructions supplied with the XHD seat, mount the seat to the riser. Note the location of the adjuster bracket to the steel mounting spacer. The bracket should be located behind the spacer. Oil all moving and sliding parts at this time.
Step 10: Connect the spring to the adjuster bracket as shown in pic.9. Loop the spring around the steel mounting spacer and connect it to the seat wave spring. (Refer to pic.10)
Step 11: With the seat mounted, check the slide and fold function.
Repeat steps 1-11 for the other side.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

NOTE: Seat Adjuster Bracket has been designed to work with Rugged Ridge XHD seats. Will not work with factory or other manufactures aftermarket seats.

Step 1. Remove seat from factory riser.

Step 6. Place small M8 flat washer over threaded hole. Place Nylon spacer over small washer. Place adjuster bracket over spacer. (pic.6)
Step 7. Place large M8 Flat washer onto M8 bolt. Put a small amount of thread lock on bolt and secure to seat riser. (pic.7)
Step 8. Tighten M8 bolt (Do Not Over Tighten). Move adjuster arm to insure it moves freely. (pic.8)

Step 10: Connect spring to adjuster bracket as shown in (pic.9), Loop spring around steel mounting spacer and connect to seat wave spring. (pic.10)
Step11: With seat mounted check slide and fold function. repeat steps 1-11 for other side.
