Slow cook
Due to the slow cooking nature, the meat does not brown, as if cooked in a pan or oven. Before slow cooking, it is not necessary to fry the meat or poultry, but you can do this if the meat tastes more to you. Frying minced beef, bacon, and sausage before slow cooking may be desirable if you want to remove excess fat from the meat.
Avoid opening the rice cooker during slow cooking as this will cause considerable heat and steam loss. If you still have to open the rice cooker, do it as quickly as possible. Some foods such as carrots, potatoes, and beets require longer cooking than meat, so cut them into smaller pieces before adding them to the meat.

  • The default cooking time is 8 hours, the maximum cooking time is 10 hours.
  • Press the „ON/OFF“ button, the LED display shows „ – – – – “.
  • Select the desired heating temperature by pressing the „Slow cook“ button: Low: 8-10 hours /Medium: 5-7 hours / High: 2-4 hours.

  • When cooking is complete, turn the machine off by pressing the ON/OFF button and disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  • Allow the rice cooker to cool completely before cleaning.

ATTENTION

  • Steam and hot liquid may cause burns.

  • During the cooking process and while maintaining temperature, steam is released from the valve, which makes a characteristic „hissing“ sound. This event is completely normal and it is not a reason for complaint.

  • During operation, it is possible to view the progress of the program on the display.
As the program progresses the digits of the set time gradually decrease.

Delay
Use this program the pressure cooker to delay cooking by up to 15:30-hours. ATTENTION

  • When working with the time delay never use ingredients that spoil rapidly such as fresh milk, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cheese, onion, etc. because they could spoil before the cooking starts!
  • A selected time and program can be ended at any time by pressing the ON/OFF button.

Tips for cooking in an electric rice cooker
Consider the following cooking tips as examples and inspiration, the purpose of which is not to provide instructions but to show various ways of cooking food. Preparation  (cooking) times depend on the amount, type, and quality of the used ingredients, but as a rule, it takes from a few minutes to tens of minutes. Choose the number of processed ingredients so that the maximum content of the cooking pot marked by a line is not exceeded when they are processed. Adhere to the amount of water prescribed in the recipes.  However, always pour a sufficient amount of water under the food, otherwise due to the lack of water the rice cooker could overheat before the cooking process is completed. When cooking rice do not exceed the maximum amount of 4 measuring cups of rice. The rice cooker is suitable for cooking traditional meals such as soups,  goulashes, single-course meals, rice, hard-boiled eggs, stewed meats, stewed vegetables, whole-boiled potatoes, cabbage, preserved fruits, mushroom dishes and many others.  After using the rice cooker for some time you will use your own times gained through experience with cooking.

  1. Place the rice cooker on a dry and flat surface.
  2. Put the food in the inner pot.
  3. Close the top lid by turning it clockwise.
  4. Press the „ON/OFF“ button, the LED display shows „– – – –“.
  5. Select the program button on the control panel, adjust the cooking time or manually set the desired time or Choice of cooking time (chewy/normal/soft).
  6. When the rice cooker is heated, the steam is automatically de-aerated hole and you hear this deaeration.
  7. It is also okay if you hear how the rice cooker heats during cooking.
  8. After the cooking time has elapsed, the rice cooker beeps and automatically switches to „Keep warm“ mode.
  9. When cooking is complete, turn the machine off by pressing the ON/OFF button and disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
  10.  Allow the rice cooker to cool completely before cleaning.

ATTENTION

  • During cooking and when opening the lid, a leakage of hot steam may occur. Be careful, steam and hot liquid may cause burns!
  • The case, the inner pot, and the metal parts of the unit heat up when running!
  • When cooking, until it cools down, steam may escape from the lid of the Rice Cooker and there is a risk of scalding.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • What does it mean when E, appears in the display window and the unit stops working? E: Sensor error. Contact an authorized service center.

  • Sometimes when cooking, I notice beads of moisture forming in the area of the hole for steam extraction. I also sometimes hear what sounds like escaping steam prior to the point in time that the timer begins to count down. Is there something I am doing wrong?
No. Both are normal and can be expected as part of cooking.

  • I pressed the wrong button by accident and the rice cooker is not allowing me to press the right one. What can I do? Press the „ON/OFF“ button. This will enable you to start over and press the correct button.

  • Sometimes when I’m cooking foods such as a roast, the time doesn’t change. Why? The rice cooker has not reached operating temperature. Countdown will begin as soon  as the rice cooker reaches operating temperature.

  • I believe I am thoroughly cleaning my rice cooker, but sometimes I notice the odor of my last meal remains in the rice cooker. Is there something I am doing wrong? The sealing ring is made of silicone. Silicone has many wonderful properties but it does tend to retain odors. Over time, the odor will dissipate.
