The Best Install Location for Solar Flood Light

In order to obtain the best lighting time throughout the night, please place the solar panels in a sunny area.

NOTE: Normally, the power supply of solar flood lights will be depleted during transportation. Please charge in direct sunlight for 8-12 hours before using it.

3 LIGHTING MODE

  • Mode: Strong Light Sensor Mode
    • Operation: Press the switch and the light flashes 1 time.
    • The flood light turns on high light whenever motion is detected. It automatically shuts off 20 seconds after motion stops to prolong battery life.
  • Mode: Dim Light Sensor Mode
    • Operation: Press the switch and the light flashes 2 times.
    • The flood light automatically turns on dim light at night and turns to high light whenever motion is detected. The light turns to dim light 20 seconds after motion stops.
  • Mode 3: Dim Long Light Mode
    • Operation: Press the switch and the light flashes 3 times.
    • The flood light automatically turns on at night until in the daytime or the battery is power off. There is no motion sensing function in this mode.

INSTALLATION

  • Step 1: Determining the mounting location
    • NOTE: Ensure the light fixture and the solar panel are located less than 5 meters for the cord to reach.
    • Determine the mounting location -wall or eave mount.
    • Rotate the left and right light heads(A) to the desired area of illumination.
  • Step 2: Installing the lamp heads mounting plate
1. Mark the lamp heads mounting plate (C) against the wall with the screw holes.
2. Drill the marked holes in the mounting wall using an electric drill.
3. Insert the wall anchors (BB) and secure the lamp heads mounting plate (C) with the mounting screws (AA).
  • Step 3: Mounting the light heads
    • Slide the knuckle(F) of the light fixture down onto the mounting plate (C) until it snaps into place.
    • NOTE: Press the light switch located at the back of the lamp to set the lighting mode before mount the light.
  • Step 4: Installing the solar mounting plate
1. Mark the solar mounting plate (E) against the wall with the screw holes.
2. Drill the marked holes in the mounting wall using an electric drill.
3. Insert the wall anchors (BB) and secure the solar mounting plate (E) with the mounting screws (AA).
  • Step 5: Mounting the solar Panel
    • Slide the knuckle(F) of the solar panel down onto the mounting plate (E) until it snaps into place. Rotate the solar panel (D) to the desired angle.
    • NOTE: Make sure the solar panel is aimed toward the sun with a minimum amount of obstructions.

    • Insert one end of the solar panel cable (1) into the cable (2) of the light head.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

  • For optimum performance, it is best to install the solar light in full sunlight and let it charge for 8 hours.
  • Allow the light to run at least 8-12 entire charging and discharging cycles to reach the maximum capacity of the battery.

WINTER TIPS

For optimal performance, be sure to remove any snow or debris accumulation from solar panel. If solar panel have been covered by snow for a long time, allow the battery to recharge in full, direct sunlight for at least 10-12 hours so it can maintain maximum capacity.

NOTE: The performance of the solar lamp will vary with the time of year. It will deliver more light when it has had a full day in the sun rather than a day in overcast weather.

Please keep out of reach of children. Do not dispose of Li-lon battery in the regular trash, municipal waste stream or by fire as batteries may leak or explode. Do not open, short circuit, or mutilate batteries as injury may occur. Preserve our environment by recycling Li-lon batteries or disposing of them in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.Do not mix old and new batteries.
