SSW MOU 15 Chop Saw
Product Information: Mobile Hoist
The mobile hoist is a piece of equipment designed for lifting
and moving heavy loads. It is equipped with wheels and brakes for
easy transportation and stability during operation. The hoist
should only be used by individuals who have received proper
training and authorization from the Manager or Setter.
Product Usage Instructions:

Ensure that safety equipment is worn at all times when
operating the hoist. -
Never attempt to move the hoist on your own. Always wait for
assistance as it is a two-person job. -
Prior to moving the hoist, conduct a safety check. Ensure that
the wheels are free from dirt and the brakes are activated. Clear
any obstacles along your route to the machine, including tables and
boxes. Inform people around you that you are going to move the
hoist. -
Release the brakes before moving the hoist. Make sure they are
clear of the floor. -
Carefully guide the hoist to the desired location, avoiding any
collisions with other machinery or people. -
Once you have reached the desired place, activate the brakes to
secure the hoist in position. The hoist is now ready to be
used. -
Only use the machine if you have been trained and authorized by
the Manager or Setter.
By signing below, you acknowledge that you have received the
necessary training, understand the operating instructions, and
agree to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
while using the machinery. If any issues with the machinery arise
or further training is needed, you will immediately inform the
Supervisor or Manager.

1 Explain that safety equipment must be used at all times
and why safety boots must be used at all times when
running machines.
2 Do not attempt to move hoist on your own, always wait for
assistance. (two-person job).
3 Conduct a safety check of hoist before moving. Wheels
are free from dirt and brake activate. Clear any obstacles
for your route to the machine, tables and boxes, let people
around you know you are going to move the hoist
4 Release the brakes, these must be clear of the floor.
5 Guide the hoist to the machine, be careful not to bang into any other
machinery or people. When you are located at desired place put on the brakes,
hoist is ready to use.
6 Do not use any machine unless trained and authorised by Manager/ Setter
I have received the above training and fully understand every point that was explained to me. I confirm that I will wear the required PPE equipment when using the above machinery and take all steps to ensure my own safety. I will ask for further training if I need to and will immediately inform the Supervisor or Manager if there are any issues with the machinery.
