Preparation Before Class

Ensure you have completed blocks of various sizes between 4 and 8 inches but not sewn together. The sample includes eleven 6-inch squares, one 12-inch square, and twenty-four 4-inch squares.
It is recommended to have a minimum of 6 large blocks and 24 small blocks.
The teacher strongly advises keeping the maximum block size at 8 inches to avoid cutting off blocks when placing them on the jacket.

Q: Can I get a refund for class cancellations?

A: There are no refunds for class cancellations. However, if you cancel 48 working hours before the scheduled class and your spot can be filled, you may receive a store credit.

Class Description

You will bring a variety of quilt blocks to class 1 to play with the layout. You can decide if you want to sew the blocks together, like the pattern, or add sashing like the teacher did. She will help you figure out where to place the correct-sized blocks and how much sashing to add. You will then complete the quilting of the sections; the teacher can provide help with quilting in the hoop if you prefer. You also have the option to free motion or use a walking foot to quilt it however you like.
You must bring the completed quilted sections to class 2. DO NOT PRE-TRIM YOUR PIECES. The teacher has instructions different then the pattern to complete the inside seams. Class 2 will go over the construction and assembly of the jacket.
