• The ALPHAREX headlights are aftermarket automotive performance lighting designed and produced by ALPHAREX. They are known for their superior quality and unique style, incorporating innovative technology. The headlights are specifically designed for 02-05 Dodge Ram 1500 vehicles.
• There are three types of ALPHAREX headlights available:
• • NOVA-Series LED Headlights
    • LUXX-Series LED Headlights
    • PRO-Series Halogen Headlights
• Please note that some vehicles may require the installation of the DRL (Daytime Running Light) harness for the headlights to function properly.

Product Usage Instructions

• Part I: Remove Headlights

• • Installation Tools:

  • 10mm Socket

  • 4mm Flathead Screwdriver

  • Phillips Screwdriver

  • Power Tool

  • 1/4 Ratchet

  • 1/4 Extension

  • Plastic Panel Popper

  • Step 1: Disconnecting the Negative Battery Terminal
    Always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal before working on your vehicle.

  • Step 2: Remove the Headlight Bolts and Screws

  • Open the hood and remove the two 10mm headlight bolts.

  • Use a screwdriver to remove the two plastic retainers.

  • Using an extension, remove the 10mm bolt located at the bottom of the headlight. Repeat the same steps for the other side of the headlight.

  • Step 3: Remove the Headlights
    After removing the headlight bolts and screws, use a panel popper to help you remove the headlamps. Carefully pull the headlights outwards towards you to release them.

  • Step 4: Unplug the Headlights
    Unplug the light sockets to complete the headlight removal. Repeat the same steps for the other side of the headlight.

• Part II: Install Headlights

• • Step 1: Install ALPHAREX Headlights
    Install the appropriate ALPHAREX headlights according to your preference (NOVA-Series LED Headlights, LUXX-Series LED Headlights, or PRO-Series Halogen Headlights).

  • Step 2: Route the DRL Wires
    Start routing the DRL wires from the driver’s side, which is closest to the battery and fuse box. Route the DRL wires to both sides of the headlights.

  • Step 3: Tap the Fuse

  • Open the fuse box and locate fuse #29 (20A) Cigarette lighter.

  • Crimp the gray wire from the harness to the fuse tap and tap it into fuse #29 (20A).

  • Route the wire and close the fuse box cover.

  • Step 4: Plug and Install the Headlights

  • Plug the wires into the new ALPHAREX headlights.

  • Attach the harness to the daytime running light connection on the back of the headlight. Repeat the same steps for the other side of the headlight.

NOTE: Some vehicle require the DRL harness installed for the headlight to function properly.

REMOVE HEADLIGHTS

INSTALLATION TOOLS
PREPARE THESE TOOLS FOR INSTALLATION

• STEP 1. DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
  Whenever working on your vehicle always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.

• STEP 2. REMOVE THE HEADLIGHT BOLTS AND SCREWS

  • Open the hood and start by removing the 2 X 10mm headlight bolts.

  • Remove the 2 plastic retainers by using a screwdriver.

  • Use extension to remove the 10mm bolt located at the bottom of the headlight. Please follow the same steps to remove the other side of the headlight.

• STEP 3. REMOVE THE HEADLIGHTS
  After the headlight bolts are removed. Use a panel popper to help you remove the head lamps. Then carefully pull the headlights outwards towards you to release.

• STEP 4. UNPLUG THE HEADLIGHTS
  Unplug the lights sockets to complete the headlight removal. Please follow the same steps for the other side of the headlight.

INSTALL HEADLIGHTS

• **STEP 1. INSTALL ALPHAREX HEADLIGHTS

• STEP 2. ROUTE THE DRL WIRES

  • Start routing the DRL wires from the driver’s side which is the closest to the battery and fuse box.

  • Connect the red wire to battery’s positive terminal, the black wire to battery’s negative terminal or the 10mm bolts on the firewall.

  • Route the DRL wires to the both side of the headlights.

• STEP 3. TAP THE FUSE

  • Open the fuse box and locate the fuse #29 (20A) Cigarrete lighter.

  • Crimp the gray wire from the harness to the fuse tap and tap into fuse #29 (20A). Once done, route the wire and close the fuse box cover.

• STEP 4. PLUG AND INSTALL THE HEADLIGHTS

  • Plug the wires into the new ALPHAREX headlights.

  • Attach the harness to the daytime running light connection on the back of the headlight. Please repeat the same steps for the other side of the headlight.

  • Finish the installation by securing the headlights to the truck.

  • Reverse the headlight removal process to complete the installation.

• STEP 5. TEST THE HEADLIGHT FUNCTIONS
  Test the functions of your ALPHAREX headlights to ensure everything works properly.

• STEP 6. ADJUST HEADLIGHT LEVEL
  Once everything has been tested aim your ALPHAREX headlights by parking 25ft from a wall and level the headlight evenly.
