NOVA-Series Mustang EcoBoost GT Headlights

aftermarket automotive performance lighting with unrival innovative
technology. The following installation guide we take you through the
installation of your new ALPHAREX HEADLIGHTS for your 2004-08 Ford F-150 step
by step.

REMOVE HEADLIGHTS
INSTALLATION TOOLS
PREPARE THESE TOOLS FOR INSTALLATION
NOTE:
Whenever using a power tool, please make sure do not overtighten the screws.
STEP 1. DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Whenever working on your vehicle always start by disconnecting the negative
battery terminal.
STEP 2. REMOVE THE COVER
Start by removing (2) screws that is holding up the plastic cover.
Remove the screws and set it
aside for later reinstallation.
STEP 3. REMOVE THE
HEADLIGHT BOLTS
In order to remove the headlight you will have to remove 3 X 10mm bolts. One
bolt on the top and 2 bolts on the side of the headlight. Please follow the
same step for the other side.
STEP 4. REMOVE THE HEADLIGHTS
Lift up the plastic tap and pull the headlight assembly outwards from your
truck. Please follow the same step for the other side.
Unplug the sockets and remove the parking light bulb from each
side of the headlight.
Remove both headlights and ready
for installation.
INSTALL HEADLIGHTS
STEP 1. ROUTE THE DRL HARNESS
With both headlights disconnected, now it’s time to
install the DRL harness. You will need to connect the red wire to battery’s
positive terminal, the black wire to battery’s negative terminal.
In order to tap the fuse you
would need to route the DRL grey wire through the firewall and to the
passenger side fuse box (located at the kick panel)

STEP 2. TAP THE FUSE
In order for the DRL to function during the day, you will need to tap the grey
wire into fuse #18.
Next, route the DRL harness to the
other side of headlight and secure it into a safe area with zip tie.
STEP 3. PLUG AND INSTALL HEADLIGHTS
Connect the DRL wire and plug in the light sockets to the new ALPHAREX
headlights.
Secure all of the headlight
bolts and reverse the removal process to complete installation. Please follow
the same process for the other side of headlight.
STEP 4. TEST THE HEADLIGHT FUNCTIONS
Test the functions of your ALPHAREX headlights to ensure everything works
properly.
STEP 5. ADJUST
HEADLIGHT LEVEL
Once everything has been tested aim your ALPHAREX headlights by parking 25ft
from a wall and level the headlight evenly.
Turn clockwise: to lower the light
Turn counterclockwise: to raise the light
STEP 6. COMPLETE INSTALLATION
Congratulations! you have completed the installation for ALPHAREX 04-08 Ford
F-150 Headlights.
