ECOLAB 1.3 Gal Pump-Up Foamer
Product Information:
The ECOLAB 1.3 Gal Pump-Up Foamer is a manual pump foamer designed for use
with pre-mixed or ready-to-use cleaning solutions.
The unit includes a black plastic wand with interchangeable fan and tubing
tips, a pressure relief valve, air pressure gauge, and a discharge valve for
controlling the flow of foam. The foamer can draw from one pre-mixed solution
and has a capacity of 1.3 gallons.
It operates at a maximum pressure of 35 psi (2.4 bar) and is compatible with
chemical products formulated for this type of application.
Product Usage Instructions:
Before operating, servicing, or interacting with the equipment, read and understand the user manual.
Assembly:
- Thread black plastic wand onto trigger handle.
- Unit includes fan tip and tubing tip. Install tip at end of black plastic wand and secure with tip retaining nut. Tips may be interchanged for different applications.
Operation:
- Press down on red pressure relief valve to release all pressure from tank.
- Unthread pump assembly from tank by turning counter-clockwise. Remove from tank.
- Fill tank 3/4 full with pre-mixed or ready-to- use solution. Do not overfill tank.
- Replace the pump assembly and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
- Lift the pump handle and pump up and down to pressurize the tank. Pump 10-15 times or until the air gauge reads 25 psi (1.7 bar). Do not overpressurize the tank.
- After pumping, push the pump handle down and twist it in either direction to lock it in place.
- Point the discharge wand in a safe direction and open the discharge valve to start foaming. To stop foaming, close the discharge valve.
After Use:
- Press down on the red pressure relief valve to release all pressure from the tank.
- Empty and rinse the unit.
Maintenance:
Always depressurize the unit before performing maintenance.
- Inspect pump assembly for wear and leaks.
- Inspect suction tube for debris and clean as needed.
- Inspect hoses and seals for wear and leaks.
- If pump action becomes difficult, lubricate pump seal:
- Raise pump handle and apply 5-10 drops of food-safe lubricant between pump and pump sleeve. Only use food-safe lubricant. Do not use WD40 or other lubricants.
- If foam quality decreases, replace wadding:
- Press down on the red pressure relief valve to release all pressure from the tank.
- Unthread the black plastic wand from the trigger handle.
- Remove the white wadding from the trigger handle.
- Insert new wadding.

Follow all chemical safety precautions and handling instructions provided by the chemical manufacturer and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for your chemical product.
- Never use with hydrocarbons or flammable products.
- Never exceed a fluid temperature of 100˚F (37˚C).
- Always flush unit thoroughly with fresh water before switching from an alkaline product to an acid product or vice versa.
- Never point the discharge wand at yourself, another person, or any object that could be damaged by chemical exposure.
- Always depressurize unit before attempting to remove the pump assembly.
- Always depressurize unit after use. Always store unit depressurized.
- Do not pressurize unit by any means other than the built-in pump assembly.
- Never leave unit unattended while pressurized.
- Do not modify or remove pressure relief valve. Do not use unit if pressure relief valve is not operational.
- Do not modify or service unit with parts not listed in this manual. If this unit is modified or serviced with parts not listed in this manual, the unit may not operate correctly.
- Keep this manual for reference.
