  • Increase the distance between the devices

Information Regarding Article 33 in REACH

The European Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of Chemicals (REACH) defines among other things requirements related to communication in the supply chain. The information requirement applies also to products containing so called Substances of Very High Concern (the “Candidate List”). On 27 June 2018 lead metal (CAS nr 7439-92-1) was added to the Candidate List.

The TRACKER-EABC and TRACKER-EPBC communicate with the Tracking Bases installed in workstations via UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) technology to measure distance between battery nutrunner and Tracking Bases.

Installation

Refer to the drawings at the beginning of this manual.

WARNING: Risk of Antistatic Discharge

There is a risk of antistatic discharge if you do not ground yourself.

  • Wear an antistatic wrist strap.

How to power on

  • Plug a battery pack to the battery nutrunner.
  1. Indicator

The indicator blinks 3 times in red during the startup indicating that the power supply is correctly provided by the battery nutrunner.

How to enable

  • Refer to the Product Instructions of CONNECT (printed matter No. 6159924300) and refer to the Product Instructions of Virtual Cable (printed matter No. 6159925540) available at https://www.desouttertools.com/resourcecentre.
  • The tracker will then communicate with the dedicated tracking base via UWB.

LED color /Description

  • green – steady /The communication with the tracking base is established.
  • red – steady /The communication with the tracking base is not established.
  • blue – steady /The tracking base is disconnected.
