PRODUCTProduct Information

The product is a lighting fixture manufactured by Hudson Valley Lighting Group. It is designed to be installed on a standard round or octagon junction box. The fixture includes various parts such as the canopy assembly, stem kit, glass assembly, glass diffuser, thumb screw, accessory locking accessory, and safety cable. The product is supplied with a hardware kit that includes replacement parts.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Feed the wire through the stem (J) and twist it tightly onto the fixture assembly (K). Add additional stems as needed for the desired hanging height.
  2. Place the canopy (I) on top and slide it through the stem (J), facing against the ceiling. Thread the connector (H) onto the stem (J) and the nipple (C) onto the connector (H). Thread the hex nut (E) onto the nipple (C) along with the tooth washer (D). Thread the mounting plate (A) onto the nipple (C) and secure it with the hex nut (E).
  3. Pull the wire out from the junction box and install the mounting plate (A) onto the junction box using the mounting screw (B). Attach the safety cable (AA) to the building structure or brace using the cable clip (Z).
  4. Trim off the excess wire to a minimum of 6 inches beyond the stem (J) and strip each wire 1/2 inch.
  5. Attach the ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box or the ground screw (F) on the mounting plate (A). Never connect the ground wire to the hot wire.
  6. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (Wire Nut) (G). Wrap the connection tightly with electrical tape to seal the end of the fastener.
  7. Connect the black fixture to the hot (Generally black) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the joined wires together the same as in the previous step. Never reverse hot and neutral wires.
  8. Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift up the canopy (I) up to the ceiling and secure using the Allen screw (V) supplied with the fixture (use Allen wrench (W)).
  9. Attach the accessory (L) to the fixture assembly (K).
  10. Slide the glass diffuser (Y) onto the fixture assembly (K) and secure using the thumb screw (X).
  11. Screw the bulb (U) into the socket of the fixture assembly (K). Make sure not to exceed the recommended wattage of 40 watts for type B lamps.
  12. Attach the metal frame (Q) to the glass bowl (P) and secure using the silicon buffer (O), glass clip (N), and ball nut (M). Attach the glass bowl (P) to the fixture assembly (K), insert the silicon washer (R) and metal plate (S), and secure using the locking accessory (T).
  13. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.

  • TO AVOID THE RISK OF FIRE OR SHOCK, FIXTURES MUST BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL/BUILDING CODES. THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS UNIT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN OR CERTIFIED FACTORY-TRAINED TECHNICIAN.
