Product Information
This product is a Direct Fit Catalytic Converter designed for Toyota Sequoia models from 2001 to 2004 with a V8-4.7L engine. It includes the following components.
- Catalytic Converter, Driver Side
- Rear Pipe, Driver Side
- Stud, M8 x 1.25 x 35 (2 pieces)
- Nut, M8 x 1.25 (2 pieces)
- 2 Band Clamp

Product Usage Instructions
- Read the instructions prior to installation.
- Before fully tightening the exhaust, ensure it has been fully installed. Leave it loose for adjustability.
- Install the band clamps to the torque specifications of 40-45 ft-lb.
- Install the V-band clamps with anti-seize lubricant and hand tighten only to torque specifications of 10-15 ft-lb.
- Tighten the three front nuts to 46 ft-lb.
- Install the O2 Sensor onto the aFe POWER catalytic converter using the supplied hardware. Tighten the nuts to 14 ft-lb.
- Ensure all components of the aFe POWER exhaust system are aligned and have a safe clearance from wires, hoses, brake lines, body parts, and tires.
- Start from the front of the aFe exhaust system and evenly tighten all clamps and fasteners.
- Start the vehicle and check for any leaks. If any leaks are found, determine the cause and repair as necessary.
- After driving 50-100 miles, it is recommended to re-tighten all clamps and hardware.

- It is missing or stolen
- It is damaged or lead poisoned as determined by a state or local inspection facility; or
- It is outside of the manufacturers warranty period (consult your owner’s manual), if none stated, 5 vears or 50.000 miles.

aFe POWER r ecommends professional installation on this product. Thoroughly inspect the aFe POWER exhaust system to make sure there is no damage from shipping (if damage is noted, immediately contact aFe POWER customer service). Allow time for your vehicle to cool down prior to installation. When working on your vehicle proceed with caution. We arprotective safety equipment ; eye goggle s and glove s to ensure a safe installation.
Install band clamps to proper torque specifications of 40-45 ft-lb.
Install V-band clamps with anti-seize lubricant and hand tighten only to torque specifications of 10-15 ft-lb.
(Read instructions prior to installation.) It is recommended to not fully tighten the exhaust until it has been fully installed. Leave loose for adjustability.
- For faster installation, spread out the parts of the exhaust alongside your vehicle as shown in the diagram above.
- Secure the stock exhaust with jack/stands.
- Disconnect the Oxygen Sensor, Remove the 2 nuts, O2 protector and the sensor from the vehicle
- Remove the 3 nuts on the front side and 2 bolts at the rear and remove the catalytic converter from the vehicle.
- Inspect the OE gaskets and re-use or replace as necessary.
- Install Slide the 2” Band Clamp and aFe POWER Rear pipe onto the Catalytic Converter, and loosely tighten clamp
- Install the aFe POWER catalytic converter using the OE Hardware. Torque the two rear bolts to 35 ft-lb, and the three front nuts to 46 ft-Lb.
- Install the O2 Sensor onto the aFe POWER catalytic converter using the supplied hardware. Tighten the nus to 14 ft-lb.
- Ensure that all the components of the aFe POWER exhaust system are aligned and are at a safe clearance from all wires, hoses, brake lines, body parts, and tires.
- Start from the front of the aFe exhaust system and evenly tighten all clamps and fasteners.
- Start the vehicle and check for any leaks. If any leaks are found, determine cause and repair as necessary.
- It is recommended to re-tighten all clamps and hardware after 50-100 miles.
