It consists of three components: S/A Front Pipe (Part Number: 05-245305), S/A Connection Pipe (Part Number: 05-245306), and S/A Muffler Assembly (Part Number: 05-245295). The exhaust system also includes two Band Clamps (Part Number: 05-41061) for installation.
Product Usage Instructions
- (Read instructions prior to installation.) It is recommended to not fully tighten the exhaust until it has been fully installed. Leave loose for adjustability.
- Secure the vehicle on jack stands according to the specified positions in your vehicle’s manual.
- For faster installation, spread out the parts of the exhaust alongside your vehicle as shown in the provided diagram.
- Secure the stock exhaust with jack/stands.
- Loosen the (x2) nuts on the sleeve clamp and slide the sleeve clamp towards the front of the car.
- Remove the (x2) bolts on the passenger and driver-side rear muffler hanger mounting brackets. Retain the bolts for reuse.
- Remove the original equipment (O.E.) exhaust from the sleeve clamp back.
- With the O.E. exhaust on the ground, remove the hangers from the rubber mount isolators and install rear muffler hanger mounting brackets onto the aFe Power Muffler Assembly Hangers.
- Install the aFe Power Front Pipe using the O.E. Sleeve Clamp. Slide the hanger into the O.E. Rubber Mount Isolator.
- Slide the aFe Power Connection Pipe into the aFe Power Front Pipe and secure it with the provided 2.5 Band Clamp.
- Slide the aFe Power Muffler Assembly into the aFe Power Connection Pipe and secure it with the provided 2.5 Band Clamp. Reinstall the Rear Muffler Hanger Brackets in the car using the O.E. Bolts (Torque to 20Nm or 15 ft-lbs).
- Ensure that all components of the aFe POWER exhaust system are aligned and have a safe clearance from wires, hoses, brake lines, body parts, and tires.
- Start from the front of the aFe exhaust system and evenly tighten all clamps and fasteners.
- Start the vehicle and check for any leaks. If any leaks are found, determine the cause and repair as necessary.
- Remove the vehicle from jack stands.
- It is recommended to re-tighten all clamps and hardware after driving for 50-100 miles.
Note: Professional installation is recommended, and it is important to inspect the aFe POWER exhaust system for any shipping damage before installation. If damage is found, contact aFe POWER customer service immediately. Allow your vehicle to cool down before starting the installation. Take caution and wear protective safety equipment such as eye goggles and gloves for a safe installation.
Description
aFe POWER recommends professional installation on this product. Thoroughly inspect the aFe POWER exhaust system to make sure there is no damage from shipping (if damage is noted, immediately contact aFe POWER customer service). Allow time for your vehicle to cool down prior to installation. When working on your vehicle proceed with caution. Wear protective safety equipment; eye goggles and gloves to ensure a safe installation. Install band clamps to proper torque specifications of 40-45 ft-lb. Install V-band clamps with anti- seize lubricant and hand tighten only to torque specifications of 10-15 ft-lb.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

- Secure vehicle on jack stands (refer to your manual for specified jack stand positions).
- For faster installation, spread out the parts of the exhaust alongside your vehicle as shown in the diagram above.
- Secure the stock exhaust with jack/stands.
- Loosen the (x2) nuts on the sleeve clamp and slide the sleeve clamp towards the front of the car.
- Remove the (x2) bolts on the passenger and driver side, rear muffler hanger mounting brackets. Retain Bolts, they will be reused.
- Remove the O.E. Exhaust from the sleeve clamp back.
- With the O.E. exhaust on the ground remove the hangers from the rubber mount isolators, install rear muffler hanger mounting brackets onto aFe Power Muffler Assembly Hangers.
- Install the aFe Power Front Pipe using the O.E. Sleeve Clamp. Slide Hanger into O.E. Rubber Mount Isolator.
- Slide aFe Power Connection pipe into aFe Power Front Pipe. Secure with provided 2.5” Band Clamp.
- Slide aFe Power Muffler Assembly into aFe Power Connection Pipe. Secure with the provided 2.5” Band Clamp. Reinstall the Rear Muffler Hanger Brackets in the car using O.E. Bolts (Torque to 20Nm or 15 ft-lbs).
- Ensure that all the components of the aFe POWER exhaust system are aligned and are at a safe clearance from all wires, hoses, brake lines, body parts, and tires.
- Start from the front of the aFe exhaust system and evenly tighten all clamps and fasteners.
- Start the vehicle and check for any leaks. If any leaks are found, determine cause and repair as necessary.
- Remove vehicle from jacks stands.
- It is recommended to re-tighten all clamps and hardware after 50-100 miles.
