Product Information
The product is a DPF-Back Exhaust designed for the Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesel model with a 2021 year and V6-3.0L (td) engine. It is specifically made to fit only the EcoDiesel model and can accommodate tires up to 35 inches. The product includes various components such as the over-axle assembly, driver- side tailpipe, passenger-side tailpipe, exhaust tips (available in polished or black finish), clamps, ties, exhaust isolation mount, bracket hanger, nut, and bolts.
Product Usage Instructions
- Read the instructions carefully before starting the installation process.
- Ensure the vehicle is securely placed on jack stands according to the specified positions mentioned in the vehicle manual.
- To expedite the installation, lay out the exhaust parts alongside the vehicle as shown in the provided diagram.
- Secure the stock exhaust using a jack and stands.
- Remove the spare tire and tire guard to create clearance for removing the exhaust.
- Undo the two bolts at the front of the original equipment (O.E.) exhaust and remove it as one piece. Retain the O.E. bolts and gasket for installing the aFe Exhaust System.
- Install the aFe Power Bracket Hanger on the driver side as shown in the provided image using the provided hardware.
- Thoroughly inspect the aFe POWER exhaust system for any shipping damage. If damage is noticed, immediately contact aFe POWER customer service.
- Allow sufficient time for the vehicle to cool down before proceeding with the installation.
- When working on your vehicle, exercise caution and wear protective safety equipment such as eye goggles and gloves to ensure a safe installation.
- Install the band clamps to the recommended torque specifications of 40-45 ft-lb.
- Install the V-band clamps with anti-seize lubricant and hand tighten only to the torque specifications of 10-15 ft-lb.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Only fits EcoDiesel Model. Fits up to a 35” Tire.
- aFe POWER recommends professional installation on this product. Thoroughly inspect the aFe POWER exhaust system to make sure there is no damage from shipping (if damage is noted, immediately contact aFe P OWER customer service). Allow time for your vehicle to cool down prior to installation. When working on your vehicle proceed with caution. Wear protective safety equipment; eye goggles and gloves to ensure a safe installation.
- Install band clamps to proper torque specifications of 40- 45 ft-lb.
- Install V-band clamps with ant i-seiz e lubricant and hand tighten only to torque’s specification of 10-15 ft-lb.
- (Read instructions prior to installation.) It is recommended to not fully tighten the exhaust until it has been fully installed. Leave loose for adjustability.
- Secure the vehicle on jack stands (refer to your manual for specified jack stand positions).
- For faster installation, spread out the parts of the exhaust alongside your vehicle as shown in the diagram above.
- Secure the stock exhaust with jack/stands.
- Remove the spare tire and tire guard. This will allow for clearance to remove the exhaust.
- Undo the two bolts at the front of the O.E. exhaust and remove the exhaust in one piece. Retain O.E. Bolts and Gasket for Installation of a Fe Exhaust System.
- Install the aFe Power Bracket Hanger on the driver side as shown in the image above using the provided hardware. Once aFe Power Bracket Hanger is installed, slide the provided Exhaust Isolation Mount onto the hanger.
- Install the aFe Power Over-Axle Assembly at the front of the vehicle using the O.E. Gasket and the two O.E. bolts to secure it. Install Hanger into O.E. Exhaust Isolation Mount.
- Slide the aFe Power Driver Side Tailpipe into the aFe Power Over-Axle Assembly and secure it with the provided 2-1/2” Band Clamp. Install Hanger into aFe Power Exhaust Isolation Mount.
- Slide the aFe Power Passenger Side Tailpipe into the aFe Power Over-Axle Assembly and secure it with the provided 2-1/2” Band Clamp. Install Hanger into O.E. Exhaust Isolation Mount.
- Install both aFe POWER exhaust tips using the provided 2.5” clamps.
- Use the provided (x4) zip ties to tie up the rear differential breather tube and any lines that might be close to the exhaust.
- Re-install the spare tire guard and the spare tire.
- Ensure that all the components of the aFe POWER exhaust system are aligned and are at a safe clearance from all wires, hoses, brake lines, body parts, and tires.
- Start from the front of the aFe exhaust system and evenly tighten all clamps and fasteners.
- Start the vehicle and check for any leaks. If any leaks are found, determine the cause and repair as necessary.
- Remove the vehicle from the jack stands.
- It is recommended to re-tighten all clamps and hardware after 50-100 miles.
