Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read and understand all steps in the instructions before starting the installation.

  3. Use the suggested tools: Set of Hex Wrenches and Socket Set with Ratchet.
  4. Strictly observe the following guidelines to use the product properly and avoid potentially dangerous accidents.
  5. Locate the left (sitting on bike) mount from the parts included. Ensure you have the correct mount before proceeding with the installation.
  6. Visually inspect the angle where the arm will be attached. The mount should be angled slightly back, toward the rider, not forward.
  7. Use the supplied anti-seize for any chrome-to-chrome fasteners. This will prevent galling and make future removal of fasteners easier.
  8. Install the clamp and arm assembly on the engine guard, ensuring that the angle goes towards the rear of the bike.
  9. Mini Arms are suggested to be mounted above the engine guard to avoid a great reduction in cornering clearance.

  • STEP 8 Tighten the four fasteners on the bottom of the clamp; push down slightly on the foot peg while tightening the fasteners to take up any slack in the engine guard.
  • STEP 9 Re-secure all fasteners. Repeat for the opposite side.

ATTENTION! It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including preassembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. Küryakyn will not issue a warranty on components lost due to improper installation. Periodic maintenance may be required.
