Introduction to the Cave Wireless Siren
The Cave Wireless Siren comes with everything you need to add to your existing
Cave system. Installation is simple and does not require a professional
electrician.
Deactivate the Anti-Tamper Button
K Lay the Cave Wireless Siren on a flat surface, ensuring the ‘Anti-Tamper Button’ on the back of the siren is not activated during installation.
Insert the batteries
Remove the front casing from the siren and open the silicone flap to expose the power input ports. Insert 3 x D batteries (not included) and switch the ‘ON/OFF’ to ‘ON’.
Warning! Once the batteries are inserted the siren will trigger if the ‘Anti-Tamper Button’ is activated. To stop this happening the ‘Anti-Tamper Button’ will need to be depressed throughout installation.
Adding the siren to the Cave app

On the home screen select ‘Add Accessory’ and click on ‘Learn Mode’. ‘Add Accessory’ is also on the System Setting’ page.
From the dropdown list select the ‘Wireless Siren’ and click ‘Start Learning’. Follow the on-screen instructions for pairing and naming the accessory. The new accessory will be saved under ‘Accessories Management’.
Mounting the siren
Tools required Power drill and screwdriver.
When mounting the siren ensure it is positioned out of reach to prevent tampering. Using the siren backplate as a template mark out and check mounting positions before drilling the holes. When inserting the screws leave enough visible to hang the siren from.
Only use a ladder if you are competent using one, otherwise, seek professional
assistance.
Siren settings
Under ‘Accessories Management’ go to ‘Wireless Siren’ and select ‘Siren
Settings’. Within the settings, you can adjust the following.
Light Mode: Adjusts when the siren lights flash i.e. lights flash to show
the siren is set to ‘Arm’ to act as a deterrent.
Prompt Tone: Sets when the siren should beep i.e. the siren should beep
when set to ‘Arm’ or ‘Disarm’. Prompt Volume Sets the sound level of the
‘Prompt Tones’ to either low, medium, high or mute.
Alarm Volume: Sets the sound level of the siren to either low, medium,
high or mute.
Siren Duration: Sets the duration the siren should sound for once
activated, choose between 1 to 5 minutes.
Test Button: Confirms the connection between the app and the siren, press
once and the siren will beep twice if connected.
