Intended use
The Charging Robot is intended for AC charging of electrically-powered
vehicles equipped with non-gassing batteries. It is intended for indoor or
outdoor use. The specifications comply with the properties of the electrical
grid and the electrically-powered vehicle, and the ambient conditions. The
connection to the vehicle is using a global standard type 2 cable (IEC 62196).
The AC input to the product is intended for a hardwired installation that
complies with local and national regulations.
If installed with other chargers of the same model it is additionally intended
to communicate with the other chargers to prevent overloads by balancing the
power used in charging multiple electrically-powered vehicles at the same
time.
Easee Ready is intended solely as a prepared charging point for an Easee
Charging Robot.
If you use the product in any way other than described in the related
documentation, it could result in damage to property, injury, or possibly
death.
For Austria, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland: The Charging Robot is
a home-charging device manufactured and designed strictly for residential use
only.
The Charging Robot shall not be used for non-residential use. Residential use
is to be understood as use in or around an individual’s own residence. The
Charging Robot at all times must make use of an individual’s private
connection to the electricity grid. The Charging Robot cannot be used for
charging electric vehicles for which reimbursement is desired, based on the
realized consumption of electricity. The Charging Robot cannot be used to
calculate this consumption.
For Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece,
Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway,
Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK:
The Charging Robot is not MID compliant. In some markets, MID compliance is
not a requirement yet for charging electric vehicles for which reimbursement
is expected or consumption is reported as a cost in tax filings; please check
local rules for more information.
Operating conditions
The Charging Robot shall only be used with a charging cable according to IEC 62196 and IEC 62893. The product must be firmly mounted on a vertical unperforated wall or structure that covers the entire back side of the product and has a sufficient load-bearing capacity. It may only be operated within the approved operating parameters (see Technical specifications in the Installer guide).
