Power On/Off:
To turn the Authentics 500 on or off, locate the power button on the speaker. -
App Setup:
To fully utilize the features of the Authentics 500, connect your Android or iOS device to the Wi-Fi network. Then, follow the instructions provided in the JBL One app to complete the speaker setup process. -
Music Streaming:
The Authentics 500 supports music streaming through the JBL One app or compatible music services. Use the app to access and play your favorite music on the speaker. -
Voice Control:
The Authentics 500 features a built-in voice assistant microphone. To activate voice control, complete the voice setup in the JBL One app. This allows you to use voice commands with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa for hands-free assistance at home. -
Button Control:
The speaker includes buttons for adjusting treble and bass settings, as well as a “Moment” button that grants access to the music playlist and personalized speaker settings within the JBL Oneapp. -
Bluetooth Pairing:
To connect Bluetooth devices to the Authentics 500, access the Bluetooth settings on your device and select “JBL Authentics 500” from the list of available devices. Once connected, you can stream music wirelessly. Note that when music streaming through Wi-Fi starts, Bluetooth streaming will pause. -
AUX Playback:
If you prefer to use an audio cable for playback, connect the cable to the speaker’s AUX input. Make sure no music is playing through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth before starting music playback through the audio cable.
