Your Nemesis Media Remote should automatically pair with your Xbox console right out of the box.

Power/Home Button
a. Press the Xbox Nexus button to turn on your TV and console.
b. While watching media, press this button to return to the Xbox “Home” screen.
c. To turn off your console, press and hold the button, then select “turn console off.” -
View Button
a. Press this button to pull up more information in games and apps. -
Menu Button
a. Press to bring up the Xbox Menu and quickly access apps, settings, and more. -
Directional Pad
a. Use the up, down, right, or left buttons on the directional pad to navigate your console screen and media apps. -
One Guide Button
a. The One Guide button allows you to program quick access to a media app. To program it the One Guide button:
i. Go to your Xbox console’s “Settings”
ii. Choose “Devices & Connections”
iii. Then “Media Remote”
iv. Select “Launch App” and choose the media app you’d like to assign. -
X, Y, A, B Buttons
a. The Nemesis Media Remote features common Xbox buttons like X, Y, A, and B. These buttons have the same functions as an Xbox controller’s X, Y, A, and B. -
Volume & Channel Controls
a. Before using the volume or channel controls, you must set up your audio preferences and connect a satellite of cable box in
the settings menu:
i. Go to your Xbox console’s “Settings”
ii. Scroll to “General”
iii. Find “TV and Display Options”
iv. Choose “Device Control”
v. In this section, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your TV, Cable/Satellite Box, Audio, or TV tuner.
Note: To set up the Nemesis Media Remote on an original Xbox One, you will need a Kinect or IR Blaster.
b. Once your preferences are set and device is connected, you can use the volume up/down buttons to increase or decrease the volume, and the channel up/down buttons to change channels. -
Mute Volume
a. Push in the volume rocker (in between the up and down volume buttons) to mute volume. -
Charging your Remote (USB-C Cable)
a. The Nemesis Media Remote comes with an included USB-C charging cable.
b. When your remote needs to be charged, simply plug the USB-C side of the cable into the bottom of the remote and the other side into your console.
c. While the remote is charging, the backlit buttons will slowly breathe.
d. When the remote is finished charging, the backlit buttons will turn off. -
Charging your Remote (Solar Panel)
a. The Nemesis Media Remote features a solar panel on the back of the remote for a sustainable charging solution.
b. To charge, flip the remote solar panel side up.
Note: The solar panel can be charged using artificial lights like incandescent, fluorescent, LED, and UV.
