SWITCH PM171 Spot LIGHTZ

Product Information

• The 2023 v4 | PM171 SL224 / SL234 / SLGL234 Spot-LIGHTZ is a series of spotlights designed for various mounting options.
• It operates at a constant voltage of 11-30VDC for 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, red, and amber lights, and at 20-30VDC for green and blue lights.
• The lights are not suitable for areas with high vibration and should be installed with fully waterproofed cabling connections for exterior use.
• It is important to note that 12VAC or 24VAC drivers should not be used with this product.
• The luminaire comes with a 5-year warranty, which will be void if the product is fully immersed in water.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation (for 2700K, 3000K, 4000K red, and amber Spot-LIGHTZ):

1. Connect the lights in parallel.
2. Ensure that the 12V or 24V DC power supply is adequately rated, allowing for 5.3W per light.
3. Make sure that the cable used is adequately rated.
4. All connections must be watertight.
5. Connect the LED Negative (Black) to the LED Negative terminal and the LED Positive (Red) to the LED Positive terminal.
6. Note: Reverse polarity is protected up to 60V, and smaller cables may be used with 24V power supply units.

Installation (for green and blue Spot-LIGHTZ):

1. Connect the lights in parallel.
2. Ensure that the 24V DC power supply is adequately rated, allowing for 5.6W per light.
3. Make sure that the cable used is adequately rated.
4. All connections must be watertight.
5. Connect the LED Negative (Black) to the LED Negative terminal and the LED Positive (Red) to the LED Positive terminal.

Constant Voltage Information:

For information on the maximum and minimum number of lights that can be connected per driver, as well as cable sizing information, please visit the SwitchLighting website and click on the provided QR code.

Mounting

• SL224 Surface mount
• SL234 Spike mount
• SLGL234 Spike mount 2

Constant voltage:

• 11-30VDC: 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, red, amber
• 20-30VDC: green, blue

Caution:

• May not be suitable for areas with high vibration.
• All cabling connections are required to be fully waterproofed for exterior installation.
• DO NOT use 12VAC or 24VAC drivers.

Note:

• Smaller cables may be used if operated from 24V power supply units.

Warranty

• Luminaire: 5 years
• The warranty will be void if the product is immersed fully in water.
• Proof of purchase is required. See the website for full warranty conditions.

1. Connect the lights in PARALLEL.
2. Ensure 12V or 24V DC power supply is adequately rated Allow 5.3W per light.
3. Ensure cable is adequately rated.

• Note: 24 VDC only

1. Connect the lights in PARALLEL.
2. Ensure 24V DC power supply is adequately rated Allow 5.6W per light.
3. Ensure cable is adequately rated.
