We thank you for your wise choice and for a purchase of the timberk food dehydrator. It will serve you for a long time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please, read this manual before using the device. This manual contains important information regarding your safety, as well as recommendations concerning the correct use and maintenance of this appliance. Keep this manual together with a warranty card, cash register receipt and, if possible, carton and packaging material. This instruction manual describes different types of this device. The device you purchased may differ slightly from the description in the manual, which does not affect the methods of use and operation. The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to the device without additional notice which is not fundamentally affect its safety, performance and functionality. There may be some misprints in text and digital notations in the present manual.

Important safeguards and descriptions contained in this manual do not include all possible situations that you may experience using the device. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage of the appliance or its parts during transportation, as a result of incorrect installation or voltage fluctuations, as well as when any part of the appliance has been changed or modified.

There is a label on the device which has all the necessary technical data and other useful information about the device. Use the appliance only for the purpose specified in this manual.

PRECAUTIONS

When using the food dehydrator, please observe the following precautions. Improper operation while ignoring these precautions can result in an injury to the user and others, as well as damage to their property.

Please read these operating instructions carefully before connecting your device to the power supply, in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use.
Before switching on the appliance for the first time please check if the technical specifications indicated on the unit correspond to the mains parameters.
Incorrect operation and improper handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance and injuries to the user.
The appliance is intended for use only in domestic aims. The unit is not intended for industrial and commercial use, and also for use in:
 kitchen area for the stuff of shops, offices and the other industrial places
 farm houses
 hotels, motels, rest homes and other similar places by residents.
Always unplug the appliance from the power supply when not in use.
Do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquids. If it has happened, remove the plug from the wall socket immediately, an expert should check the unit before using it again.
Do not operate the appliance if the cord or the plug is damaged or if the appliance has been otherwise damaged. In such cases take the appliance to a qualified specialist for check and repair if necessary.
Ensure that the cord does not hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.
To disconnect the appliance from the power supply pull it by the plug only, not by the cord.
Place the appliance on a dry stable non-hot surface, away from hot objects (e.g. hotplates); do not place under curtains and shelves.
Never leave the appliance not supervised during use.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not touch hot surface.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to users.
Do not use the device for longer than 48 hours at once. After 48 hours of usage, unplug the device from the socket and let it cool off.
Do not cover the device.
ATTENTION: in order to avoid catching fire, always place the device only on a nonheating surface.
The appliance is not designed for use with external timer or separate remote control system.
Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance. Repair the malfunctioning appliance in the nearest service center.
If the product has been exposed to temperatures below 0ºC for some time it should be kept at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on.

DESIGNATION

The timberk food dehydrator is used to remove moisture from vegetables and fruits, drying medicinal herbs, spices, fish and meat in order to preserve vitamins and trace elements.

BEGINNING

First take out the main machine and place it as shown
Note the number of each boards, insert 4 transparent boards into the grooves of the main machine in the order of (1,2,3,4)
Install the door in the direction as shown
Use the included screwdriver to install the mounting screw

Control of the device

Press the button to turn on the device.
Press the button to enter the automatic program selection mode. A total of 6 automatic programs are available – “Fruits”, “Vegetables”, “Berries”, “Meat”, “Mushrooms”, “Herbs”.
To switch between programs, use the button.
Wait a few seconds – the program will turn on automatically.
Press the button to enter the drying time setting mode in the range from 0 to 48 hours.
To set the required time interval, use the buttons and , where – increase the cooking time, – decrease the cooking time.
Wait a few seconds, the program will turn on automatically.
Press the button to enter the temperature selection mode in the range from 30ºC to 75ºC.
To set the required temperature mode, use the buttons and , where – an increase in the cooking temperature, – a decrease in the cooking temperature. Wait a few seconds – the program will turn on automatically.

Function description
For each auto program there are pre-installed time and temperature for drying. But it is possible to set custom time and temperature for drying

CLEANING AND CARE

Device cleaning:

Clean the product immediately after each use.
Please turn off and unplug the machine before cleaning.
Please follow the parts disassembly method to take out the parts and clean them separately.
Do not immerse the main machine in water or other liquids, and never rinse the main machine under the faucet.
Do not use bleach or chemical disinfectant solutions/pills in this product.
Do not use wire balls, abrasive cleaners or corrosive liquids (such as gasoline, acetone or alcohol) to clean this product.
After cleaning, air dry the main machine and all accessories.
Other accessories can be put into the dishwasher for cleaning except for the main machine.
When the machine is not used for long time, please clean it up and put into the packaging box. Put the box somewhere cool and with good air ventilation to avoid humidity.

STORAGE

Be sure that the appliance is unplugged.
Complete all requirements of Chapter CLEANING AND CARE.
Keep the appliance in a dry clean place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

UTILIZATION RULES

**** The symbol on the unit, packing materials and/or documentations means used electrical and electronic units should not be toss in the garbage with ordinary household garbage. These units should be pass to special receiving point.
For additional information about actual system of the garbage collection, address to the local authority.
Valid utilization will help to save valuable resources and avoid negative work on the public health and environment which happens with incorrect using garbage.
After the lifetime of the device expires, it should be recycled in compliance with the laws, rules and methods in region of recycling. Detailed information about the recycling of the device, you can receive from a representative of the local authorities, after providing full information about the device.
The manufacturer and authorized organization of the manufacturer do not carry responsibility for the fulfillment by the Buyer of the requirements of legislation on utilization and methods of utilization of the device selected by the Buyer. The lifetime of the device is indicated in the warranty card. Warranty period for the device and warranty terms are specified in the warranty card. The warranty card is an integral part of the documentation supplied with this unit. If there is no warranty card in the delivery set, ask for it from the Seller. The warranty card provided by the Seller must conform to the manufacturer’s form.
The manufacturer and the authorized organization of the manufacturer remove responsibility for any possible harm which can be caused to people, animals or property directly or indirectly, if this harm occurred as a result of noncompliance with the rules and operating conditions, installation of the device, intentional or reckless actions of the user- and / or third parties, as well as in situations caused by natural and / or anthropogenic accidents.
